In the upcoming Tokyo Toy Show (http://www.toys.or.jp/toyshow/) that to be held on 15th to 18th July 2010, 3 special figures has been announced by Takara Tomy.
There are:

- Transformers Animated TA-05 Prowl Elite Guard Version
- Transformers Movie Dreadwing (Repaint of Mindwipe) & Transformers Movie Smokescreen (Repaint of Skystalker)



All toys will be on sale at the show, and remaining will on sale e-Hobby Japan store.

Nice, but I'd only be tempted by repaints that represent something from the show, like all-chrome Ironhide or rusty Rodimus Minor. (Please?)

And with "Dreadwing", no plans to slap G1 Mindwipe's colors on him and call his drone Vorath? And what might they repaint Seaspray and Breacher into? A G.I.Joe crossovers Killer Whale and VAMP?

Just redeco them in Joe colors and call them Cutter & Clutch. I'd buy that.

That would be so, so sweet. I appreciate the G2 homage though. I don't especially like the colours or plan to buy it but I like the homage.

That Prowl looks fantastic. Too bad it's not Samurai Prowl.

The Prowl looks good, but I can live without it. The Smokescreen & Dreadwing look damned good. Smokescreen looks just so cute. I guess i'll probably cave on these just like i'm beginning to cave on movie Banzaitron.

I want all 3......... NOW.

I think I might need that Dreadwing...

- The Mindwipe repaint is Smokescreen
- The Skystalker repaint is Dreadwing

Odd, it should have been the opposite.

I'd love to have that Prowl, with its homage to the classic black & white look. But I have no interest in Dreadwing & Smokescreen; I love Mindwipe and Skystalker and I don't think any repaint can top them.

Hmmm not much into animated line, but Prowl does look good and Dreadwing and his minion do look nice, but NO REPAINTS!!!!!!! if i can help it.

Yes, u r right. I didnt notice the arrow pointing towards the toy when i news it. News article changed, thanks for the shape eyes!

Mindwipe looked Soundwave-esque before (especially the Cybertron version), and the blue makes him seem even more Soundwavey. Skystalker would make a mean Ratbat if he was painted purple.

I was hopeful for a dreadwing/Smokescreen repaint myself, way not to let me down for once, TT. Here's hoping for some Reprolabel wing stickers.

The Prowl I can live without.
