So its just like 1984?
I mean in a "but mommy I want it  " way not a "I'm broke" way.

Don't worry, they'll be around all summer at least and by Christmas we'll be sick of looking at them!

Actually with the new cartoon supposed to premier in the fall we'll probably have those toys coming out Christmas time. The movies toys will probably be done by late August. After all, all but six figures are already released, all we have left are 08 BB, the Realgear watch, gamepad, and Decepticon phone, and then Leader Brawl and the possible Voyager Bonecrusher thats been hinted at. Unless more unrevealed stuff pops up soon this line will basically be done with wave two.

Of course in that same vein other then the store exclusives I highly doubt any of the figures will be to hard to come by simply because there aren't that many of them so each wave will be mostly the same figures.

I could agree that it feels like 1984, if I wasn't too young to remember.

was cool to see the shelves packed with TF toys. I may not be a movie fan but I must admit the toys are really cool.

I was 13 when TF's were released and it was alot more fun back then.. I opened everything up and loved it.. I did not get frustrated at all.. Today.. meh..

I think what killed it for me so far is the fact that I am so disappointed with Wreckage and Starscream so far..

I am digging Bonecrusher though..

Digging Bonecrusher? Really? After getting my first four movie deluxes from Fred Meyers after the trailer release Bonecrusher and Swindle couldn't be given away.

What's wrong with Starscream? I was thinking about buying him.

Anyway, to try to recapture that 1984 feeling, I bought G1 Red Alert, but it didn't work because it ended up feeling like 1985.

Loving leader Prime. Great figure, interesting transformation, and very sturdy. Ironhide on the other hand not so great. Wish I had gone with my first inclination and picked up Blackout. Softimus Prime is kind of cute though. Now I think I'm done buying figures until the next paycheck.

Might wait and see if the rumors of some of the deluxes being scaled up to larger versions is true. With the bots all pretty much in scale it would be nice to have most of the cons closer to the right scale too.

See I'm the opposite there, not a fan of leader prime, though I love the Robovision voyager mold. And I absolutely love Ironhide. Blackout is a very cool figure as well.

I'm hoping that Bonecrusher does get the Voyager treatment, though I'm not holding my breath, and I want the Leader Brawl.

I was 4 when Transformers were released, though I think my brother let me play with his toys. Or I am sadly mistaken and they were actually Gobots. :?

Well he was a pain in the ass to transform and he has stress marks on his wings where they fold in half.

I have been transforming him a bit and slowly warming up to him..

I even saw a few people fighting for some, as my TRU waited until 11 a.m. to put out the figures, and they only had one case of Optimus Prime. No fist fights, but a lot of pushing and shoving. And I just stood back and watched the carnage.

I love the smell of plastic napalm in the morning.

Hey Cyber Bishop, why are you disappointed with Wreckage? I was at super walmart at 12:30 am this morning, and there was only one Wreckage left, so that's the only toy I got (don't have the money to buy too many TFs at one time).

I basically like him, but I wish his head could go back farther. Even pushed back as far as it will go, his head is still tilted forward, making him look like a hunch back. And I don't like the Automorph feature. I go to adjust his arms downward, and since they are connected to his head and chest via the automorph feature, they get pulled forward/downward, too. Rather annoying. But I still like him. I REALLY hope he gets released as a Voyager, and the arms are disconnected from the Automorph feature.

And as Ultra Prime said, it looks like my super walmart can't give away Swindle or Bonecrusher. There were a ton of them.

I don't like the way his "chest" does not lock into place so when you move his arms his whole chest moves.
If it locked then he would be 100% better in my book.

See I love Wreckage. Sure that part is a bit annoying, but he is one of the best released, and by far one of the leading designs, probably because he has no game or movie influence.

It's a beautiful thing to see transformers lining the shelves. There was hardly any room in the TRU tf aisle yesterday.

Still, I hope some of the people in the aisle weren't real good tfans from years gone by, if you catch my meaning, cos they seemed real dumb about transformers.

I'm not sure if that's phrased right, but oh well.

I think this is what it was like in 1984. Tfs everywhere, kids and adults alike buying them...
