New Images of Transformers 2010 Primus

The Japanese Toy Hobby Market website has updated their 2010 Campaign portal with images for the 2010 edition of Primus. A repaint of the gargantuan Cybertron Primus, it is a Toy Hobby Market exclusive and at the cost of 9,450 Yen. Pre-order period for the figure is between today (June 24th) and August 1st. The new image shows off more of the details put into this repaint, including a close up of all of Primus' gimmicks. Check it out below!

Hm...my parents got me the normal version when I was 12 I think, I see no reason to buy this...

The silver makes me say "YES!" - the blue makes me say "NO!".
Unfortunately for this toy, there is far, far too much blue. If it were Rodimus coloured, I probably would've been all over this.

This could have been painted up and sold as a turd and I still would buy this mold. Needless to say, looks awesome.

Primus is head over heels a better representation of a planet mode than the Unicron mould ever will be. DEFINITE BUY!

Am I allowed to say I don't like it, well I do like it and I will buy if I get the chance, but, why the blue? He's virtually the same as the original release. The blue in robot mode really makes it clear that those are his fists hidden away, the original hides that part really weel, those 2 blue areas really ruin the planet mode. WHat makes it so bad is I know the reason for this, and it's purely becuase the original had grey and black there, so they made it blue so it wasn't just a straight metalic repaint in bot mode. They really should of kept the forearms silver, I hate it when it could be so much better without costing extra or being a complete no brainer. For example MP ghost starscreams fists, why arean't they blue, I can't think of any reason for this...
