I can't see why not. I would gladly pay 15 bucks for a 4 pack of limbs and or accessories for these guys. The combinations and imagination could be endless, as is the engineering. Hell if they make a Power core Ravage or Beast Combiner that would be tits.

Movie Devastator Power Core Combiner? :BOOM:

Any Fan/Third Party manufacturers gonna jump on the Power Core line?

Until HASBRO is sure of the popularity of PCC, they stated in the panel that they were going to stick with the size and general idea of 2 and 5 packs.

It's nice to see the excitement for new TF product, I'm having a hard time liking them from my first experience with the 5 packs.

apparently the 5 packs are total sh!t, whereas the 2 packs are outstanding quality.

Seems odd that the quality is worse in the more expensive sets.

Of course, I only own the 2 packs, so I can't actually comment on their quality; I'm just repeating what others have said.

It's really just the jet 5 pack that is lousy. The Combaticons are pretty darn good.

I don't like Smolder's bot mode as much as I thought I would but Searchlight and Backwind make me very happy. So does Huffer and he was at the bottom of the "like" list before I bought him. Their transformations are fun. The Aerialbots, man I hate that you have to fiddle with the connectors to make em work properly. They look nice but function poorly IMO. The Mini-Cons while being pretty straightforward and simple are pretty darn good and I normally don't care for them much. I'm enjoying what I have and I am kinda excited to find the Combaticons. I'll definitely be getting more, especially the Dinobots! C'mooon repaints!

If they lose the spring gimmick and instead work on making a solid set on limbs out of the drones I might give the line a chance. There's a lot of wasted potential there. As they are now I'm going to skip the whole line.

Again CP, care to expand? :D I hated the look of the official jet pics but when I say Peaughs review I thought it looked quite good.

I think I want most of the 2 packs I've seen so far and only two 5 packs just so I can do the interchanging of parts and have evenly matched Autobots and Decepticons but the 5 packs don't interested me much, I certainly wouldn't pay out for a drone pack unless they lost the spring gimmick and introduced manual transformation and poseability for the limbs.

Well, the combaticons limbs are much more blocky, thus creating a more traditional set of limbs, there are real 'feet', even if he does not balance on them well, and also, there is a 'hell' of a lot of weaponry on the limbs, either revealed, or already there, that makes it look quite formidable.

I think I want a different center piece though, or commander.

I'm going to mix and match limbs soon to see how it all 'plays'.

I keep hearing that the Jets (Skyburst) are just terrible and look aweful, but the Combaticons (Bombshock) are awesome by far. I'm sure there alot more blockyness to Bombshock, verses Skyburst, but too me i really like Bombshock, Icepick and Sledge which i may pickup, but like someone said earlier, these look really good, but have a hard time liking them...

From what we saw at BotCon, while they seemed intrigued by the possibility of minicon or drone add-on sets I don't think it's something we'll see until popularity is assured. After all, even if 1,000 fans are crawling all over it, if 10,000 kids don't care they won't be putting it out.

That being said, the upcoming 2- and 5-packs look fantastic. The Destructicons (read: Stunticons), and Dinobot 5-packs, and the next wave of 2-packs are already an improvement over what we have right now. Unfortunately I can't comment on the 5-packs since all I've found is the 2-packs, but I'm liking these guys a lot more than I thought I would.

Gotta say though, a lot of that is because the minicons are just sexy. Just plain sexy.

I think I've decided to skip this line so far. I saw the first wave of 2-packs in store, and they just didn't look that great. I did see the Combaticons on display in a hobby store and they looked okay, but I think for now my money is better spent elsewhere.

I saw this statement and I thought, yes.

I went and bought the two-packs and I sincerely do not like the minicons.

If they were not transparent and were instead detailed solid plastic, maybe a bit more, but Backwinds looks like a pile of slime parts, the other two are better, but still it's hard to tell what came first the alts or robot modes because it's all just fold things in a little different way to get the new mode. No hiding or anything... I hope it gets better.
