Hey guys,

So I got my Leader Class Starscream today. He is super awesome and I think he is one of my favorite transformers that I own. However, I have run into a bit of a problem. His audio chip doesn't seem to work. I noticed a bit of a jet sound while transforming him but that cut out, so I think it may just be that something got loose on him or something. He was sitting on my porch for a good hour in the heat too so I dunno. Has anyone had this problem with their Starscream/Other Transformer before? I'd prefer some guidance before I go fiddling around with his wires.

I got him from Toys R Us's Website, so if I where to return him I'd have to ship him back. But I don't really want to send him back cause he is really awesome. Any help would be super appreciated.

Well the lights work fine, its just that there is no sound. Sorry I forgot to mention that. I switched out the batteries to be sure and the sound still doesn't work, but the Lights still work fine.

Sounds like a defect. Unless the problem is just a loose wire at the speaker, I'd guess there's not much you can do.

The voice sounds are garbage, tho. The jet and transform sounds are great. Good luck.

Huh, So I decided to fiddle with him a bit and took the arms off and tried to get at the speaker. I must have unstuck something cause he works fine now.

He doesn't sound like movie Starscream. As a movie toy, that's not very good.

the voices in RotF didn't sound right eg. Soundwave, Starscream sounds more like Starscream in the first movie than the second movie.
