I was searching around on ebay and came across this http://cgi.ebay.com/Vardia-Toshiba-Red-Starscream-Transformers-Rare-MISB-/330449539103?cmd=ViewItem&pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cf053d01f a Vardia Starscream from 2007. Looks pretty sweet but I just wondered why there is not much talk about this or any galleries? I can hardly find a decent picture of this repaint on google. How rare is it? I'm thinking of puting a bid in on it but not sure. What do you think?

It's a pretty rare figure, only released in Japan with a Home Electronics company. I think it came for free if you bout a DVD player? I think the player was called The Vardia, hence the name Vardia Starscream. It received a lukewarm reception IIRD until after the promotion ended, then then figure jumped in price like a rocket.

Then we all just... forgot about it.

The Vardia Blu-Ray player was going for $600-700 during it's release, this Vardia Pink Starscream was a freebie along with it. I think I saw it going for the high 500's back in '07, a year ago BBTS had it on clearance for around $200 (because nobody wanted it)

To get it now for under $100 is a steal. I'd totally pick it up, and I love the 2007 Movie seeker mold, but if you have this, you totally have to collect the rest of them, and I'd still need Ramjet, Skywarp, G1scream and Premiumscream..

The Vardia Blu-Ray player...

Not Blue-ray, HD-DVD. Toshiba was the pime and only competitor to Sony's Blue Ray back then. Their version was simply HD-DVD.
Toshiba's attempt at an extremely Exclusive set. Buy one of their new HD-DVD players back in 2007, and you get a Special copy of Transformers the Movie, and This guy.

There very few of these out there, and he's really nothing too special. Same Voyager Mold in ugly red and puke yellowish green.

TF at the Moon has some decent pics.

We talked bout it here way back when it was going for 800 bucks plus. $95 is a swell deal now.
