I was wondering if anyone knows where I can find this guy; http://diaclone.net/orid/diatri/d092.html

I love Triple Changers planning on getting all the old G1 era ones, and this guy was never released as a Transformer, why I don't know he looks awesome.

Maybe Hasbro thought that a Plane and Helicopter was a silly combination? Tank\Plane, Train\Spaceshuttle, Boat\Plane, Helicopter\Dunebuggy, Helicopter\Car, Tanker\Jumbojet - the rest all change terrain as well as just changing modes.

Truth be told, when you really look at this figure, I think it looks more like a Machine Robo than a Transformer. I'm not saying that it's a bad thing - it just doesn't have the same design aethetic as the other Diaclones

As for owning one in good condition - I hope you've got a spare Kidney.

To this day, that has never actually occurred to me until you just mentioned it

They probably didn't release him because he looked too much like a Decepticon, and they didn't want to flood the shelves with a figure that was too similar to the other two Triple Changers.

Speaking of unreleased Triple-Changers, are you aware of this guy? http://tfwiki.net/wiki/Dropshot_%28Armada%29

Kinda silly, but also pretty cool.

That must be the one that Hasbro was talking about in one of their panels that didn't make it in G1 because the toy guys didn't make a very strong pitch for it. Still pretty cool.

Still he kiscks arse, I mean its like the ultimate aerial warrior.

Also I made an updated version of him for my fanart trend of a series I made up called Dimension wars, and he now has a name; Skylander (a comment made by my mom of all people made me come up with the name, she said; so...he lives in the skies.)

I never noticed either, I thought it was just for the sake of having 3 modes to be awesome and stuff....
