Which WFC TF's have been released so far?

Man, after playing the WFC game, I've developed a serious addiction to WFC toys.
I know that OP and Bumblebee are already released at my local hobby store, but there's no sign of Megatron or Soundwave. Have the latter two been released yet?
Also, is there any possibility of a WFC Starscream or Brawl?
And does Toys R Us carry the WFC/Generations line?
Thanks in advance for any info!

OP and BB are the only ones released yet.

The better the first four sell, the more likely we are to see more, according to HASBRO.
And yes, TRU carries Generations, WFC.

Don't forget the UK-Exclusive Legends Starscream.

Megatron and Starscream are due to debut 7/1, according to the sign at Botcon. (It's passed, that much is obvious, yes.) We all know those dates don't hold water, so it's anyone's guess as to when they'll arrive, but it should be soon...ish.

Do you mean Megatron, and
SOUNDWAVE (not Starscream).

*facepalms* I'm so sorry. Yes, you are correct. I meant Soundwave, not Starscream. I don't know where that came from, but that's the first name my brain went to.

Thanks for the info, guys!
There's just one thing that bugs me: The WFC figs are sold in sets of four! And two of them aren't even from the WFC line!
At my hobby store, at least, in order to get OP and Bee, you need to also buy Drift and Thrust--and it's the same case in BBTS! Fortunately, I'm quite partial to Drift and I don't mind owning Thrust either.
I shudder to think what other "hangers-on" Megatron and Soundwave might come with when they're released.

Except that it's NOT a WFC line, it's Generations, a line that's made to accommodate any TF series they want to put in it.

Correct.
HFTD: Continuation of ROFT. (Any redecos or remolds will be of preexisting ROTF figures.)
Generations: The "catch all" line. Even though it has WFC in it, it's not the WFC line. It will cover G1, WFC, etc.
Power Core Combiners: The odd one out. More of a kid's line than anything else. A line made specifically for fun.
We'll probably see HFTD start to peter out a bit towards Christmas time, Generations will thin out a bit but not come to a full hiatus, and Power Core Combiners will continue on in limited capacity since it's all repaints, for the foreseeable future.
Generations stands the best chance to carrying on even through the lull, because it has the most new product coming out, not counting redecos and remolds. HFTD will quickly devolve into redecos and remolds, with a few scant original molds. PCC, repaints and all will sell because people will want every single deco of the drones.

Okay, that explains a lot.
So basically the WFC figs don't have their own specific line, and are part of the Generations toy line. And from what I've read, Generations does not have anything bigger than a deluxe fig, which means Omega Supreme and Trypticon are out of the question.
What I still don't get is why Wave 1 (and possibly Wave 2) are sold in sets?
BTW, I just got WFC OP and Bee, Thrust and Drift yesterday. Awesome figs! The WFC figs are very close to their game counterparts, and have excellent proportions, give or take a kibble of two. Thrust isn't as articulated as I'd hoped, but at least he's got a sleek jet mode.
Drift is flawless.
I also got Leader Starscream. Superbly detailed fig!
Heheh, better stop now before I go off-topic.
Waiting for Megatron and Soundwave.

The WFC game is still making waves and money, and is fresh in the minds of kids, parents, and collectors. Teaming Bumblebee and Optimus together was a smart move. Teaming Megatron and Soundwave together in the next case is also a smart move.
Leaves enough room for G1 (Thrust, Blurr, Kup, etc) to have a spot, and leaves one open for the odd one out (Drift). Since there won't be any more one shots like Drift (as far as we know, he's the only figure with no real attachment outside of the comics, unlike the others), I'm sure there will be plenty of room for more WFC and G1 stuff.

I guess that makes sense. I initially thought you HAD to buy all four, and that they aren't sold separately. When I got to the hobby store, it turns out you get a slight discount for buying all four, but have to pay full price when you buy them individually.
But in the case of BBTS, it seems that you DO have to buy all four in the set.

I believe you do, actually. That stems from the fact that they order cases, and end up losing large amounts of money on singles, because only the popular ones sell, and they're stuck with piles of unwanted figures, and they can only reduce the prices so far, otherwise it'll be a total loss.
Which in turn, causes prices to go even higher in the future. So, if people have to buy all four, they're not stuck with the extra stock. Besides, there's a good chance the buyer will have someone who will want to buy their unwanted figures.

Nope BBTS lists individuals as well as cases/ or wave sets.
The individual pre-orders go fast. They do limit them, because otherwise you get people focusing on only buying the 'hot toys' in a case, and skipping the rest, thus leaving them with a bunch of the odd man out to TRY to sell for a loss later.
Usually their individuals are slightly, sometimes heavily overpriced to account for that fact, but they still prefer to sell cases, or at the very least wave assortments in full.

I'd be very surprised if we don't get WFC Seekers since the Seekers tend to be popular no matter the line and including the unlockable Slipstream, there are 4 in the game.
Considering WFC is G1 retold, the G1/Animated fans will fall over each other for Slipstream. I know I will.
I'd love to get Air Raid at some point who will probably get repainted as another Aerialbot, preferably Fireflight.
Ironhide/Ratchet is likely too. Be nice to see a G2 Motormouth repaint who shared a mold with Gobot Ironhide.

Since Generations is going to be the catch all line for the TF brand, I'd say that they should do one of each era per case.
One WFC figure (x2), one G1 figure (x2), one expanded universe figure, like Drift (x2), one Animated/Beast Wars/etc figure (x2) a full case, multiples of each figure, and one of each universe or generation.
I think that would work quite well, plus it would ensure that redecos and remolds don't become prevalent, at least not at first.
But, we'll probably end up with 3-4 of one figure, short packs of the really popular figures (I still don't understand that methodology at all...)
Oh well. As long as I get what I want, I'm happy.

I just went ahead and ordered WFC Prime and Drift from Hasbro Toy Shop. Sure, I hate to pay shipping, but I'd waste plenty more in gas driving from TRU to TRU to find them.
And having hit several TRUs the last few days, I think I need to make this introduction; HFTD Jetblade, meet ROTF Tuner Mudflap, Mudflap, meet Jetblade. I'm sure you two will become very close friends warming shelves together.

I just ordered wave 1 from BBTS. When I did the math for the 4 figs (plus shipping) compared to going out and buying them from a local store (in which I have no idea when they will be in stock) it was actually around the same price. Knowing that, I preordered the combined wave 3+4 too.
It's pretty nice actually, saves me time and I get mail. I would buy a few at a time anyway, so this gives me more bang for my buck and I get them earlier (darn Canada and our lag behind the US!)

I got WFC Optimus. BB looks kinda lame, so I am going to hold out see how many of these Hasbro releases. If they start to come out with a lot I will get them all for series collection purposes.

Don't forget about customs though. I've been smacked pretty hard with my BBTS orders, but I usually ship $200+ at a time.
Also, I'd avoid UPS shipping like the plague, unless you do air (which is expensive). Their customs fees are through the roof...

I only ship by USPS (or whatever normal service they provide). I've been burned by using couriers before so from now on I just use normal post. Never had a problem with customs since. Though I've never ordered so much at once before. We'll see if I get charged anything. It's only a $70 order so I doubt I'd be paying more than $10 anyway

Good plan. Customs charges shouldn't be much for an order that small. I use regular post too. Too bad airmail still takes 3 weeks to get to Canada. I suspect that's largely the fault of Customs.

Wow, that's a long time

Most things come a week later for me but I'm closer to the boarder than you are I think. Besides, the actual order is under $60 so I doubt I will pay anything. Just gotta wait till next week. Should be here Tues or Wed.
