He may be minor but his figure certainly isn't. Animated Rodimus Minor is due to be released by Takara as part of the 2010 campaign and by Hasbro as a store exclusive but we get a sneak preview thanks to another of Peaugh's excellent video reviews.

The video can be seen here or embedded below.

-sigh- Why couldn't Hasbro just make a reissue of Classics Rodimus like they did Starscream? I'm alright with Animated Rodimus, but I would rather have a Classics Rodimus

Erk, the video camera really doesn't do this guy justice either.

I have only seen one set of pictures so far that actually made Rodimus's face look good so far.

I guess the only way to know for sure is when I have him in hand. :BANG_HEAD:

I'll pic this guy up but it's his alt mode that sells the figure for me, not the robot mode.

I'm almost certain it was confirmed at Botcon that we are getting a reissue of Classics Rodimus, along with this version.

There's an anime colored Rodimus shown in another thread (probably buried 2-3 pages in posts...), and it was all but confirmed that he's part of the special Target 3-pack that's coming out later this year with Cyclonus and Galvatron.

Takara is releasing their other Son's of Cybertron Set with a Classics / Henkei Crystal Rodimus and Optimus Prime.

And yes there's supposed to be a Hasbro 3 pack coming soon, with Classics Rodimus, Cyclonus and Galvatron.

So no shortage of Rodimii.

Agreed. I'm getting really excited about this figure. What excites me more is that it looks good enough to be a Classics Hot Rod, thereby leaving my true one for the Protector armor, thus saving me from having to buy the henkei version.

Thank you, Hasbro, for saving me money I'll be using to purchase everything else you're raping my wallet with this year.

As a huge Rodimus fan, I am so all over this figure as soon as I can get my hands on it. I already have the Takara version preordered, as long as it's not uber-metallic, I'm keeping it.

Me too. I've learned not to wait for Canada anymore. That and I don't want to fight with the scalpers  Figure looks so awesome. Can't wait till he arrives.

I thought he looked cool in the show but I just don't like the toy as much.
Mainly his torso that bothers me. Seems just wide enough to make him proportionally awkward. It's almost the same case like with Animated Sentinel-even though I think the robot mode in general for that toy is slag- where his chest was so massive/bulbous that it was an instant pass. I think the Sentinel toy could have had a lot of potential and I think this one looks good too but not my cup of tea. Also, he has no nose... Just saying.

Good to know about the 3 pack. Thanks!

The 3 pack is still just a rumor though, so don't count on it 100%.
