Greetings Seibertronians,
can anyone please comment on their dealings with said web site? They are based overseas...Asia yes? If that's correct on where they are located it does concern me a bit considering I choose to only deal with orders that are in North America only. So I hope to hear from all those who are in the know, thanks all!

This has been asked hundreds of times. I have delt with them many times, and have NEVER been dissapointed.
They are based in Hong Kong, so shipping to the United States is more expensive than if you were to purchase elseware. However, there base price on many figures is typically lower so I mostly have ended up paying close to the same as if from BBTS.

They're the ones I use. It's simple. Robotkingdom's base price is lower then BBTS. For US buyers, however, the shipping is much greater than BBTS, so the prices even out between the two sites. For purchasers outside the US, however, shipping is roughly equal between BBTS and Robotkingdom, making Robotkingdom often the better choice.

Thanks for the input Arucard and Gutter Bunny. Sorry if this is an age old question and I wish it is the last you will both hear about it, but I some how doubt it. It's time now to go place my order with confidence thanks to you guys!

Since your based in the U.S., it might be beneficial for you to deal with BBTS or another U.S. based store if the prices are similar. I say this because if there is a problem with an order or you have to return something it would be easier and cheaper to ship back to a U.S. based store.

I'm in agreement with what everyone else says. For convenience/ease of return it might be easier to deal with BBTS, but Robotkingdom is indeed a good retailer. I'm based in Canada, and sometimes things get to me faster from Hong Kong than they do from the US. Go figure.

I can say in dealing with them via email I had no problems confirming a few things with an order and having it all held until a few preorders came in before it all ships.
If your ordering in quantity, robotkingdom seems to work out well.
A couple figures alone saved me over $50 each.
Shipping for the entire order is going to run me 194$ but I still saved money over buying it from someone here and got a few things anyone here is sold out of.....
I will withhold final judgement until my order actually comes in lol
So big ticket items where the price different is greater or saving decent amounts of money on several items or making a large catch up purchase it swings in their favor

I was sent the wrong item, my first time dealing with them. Not only was it not what I had ordered, but it wasn't even a TransFormer, it was a Saint Seiya! Wrong type of toy, wrong brand, wrong company! Heck, it was even the wrong size!
Took them forever to make it right. I ended up having to buy Animated Leader Megatron from a shady eBay seller who ended up being legit and came through for me, and for cheaper and faster.
I ended up with a second Megatron and sold it for half of what I paid, so I lost a LOT of money on the deal.
I won't deal with them again. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Not gonna do it.
And I've also heard of items being shipped to the wrong address. I do think, in general, that they try to be the best and try to do things the right way, but once they've screwed up, they get pissy and ignore you. In their mind, it's better to have it out of sight and out of mind.
I had to get PayPal involved, they ruled in my favor, couldn't retrieve the funding, and STILL I hadn't heard from RobotKingdom. Finally the owner emailed me two days later and said he'd be willing to work with me.
I shouldn't have had to go to that kind of trouble. Never once.

I go through Robot Kingdom most of the time and have never had a problem. Everything is always supperbly packaged and arrives from Hong Kong to Australia in about 4 days. I once ordered on a Friday afternoon, had arrived by Monday. I was in utter shock.

Something similar happened to me when I placed a big order. I got Voyager Bulkhead, instead of leader. However my outcome was far more favourable. I notifed them, and got a Leader Bulkhead posted to me free of charged, and got to keep the voyager.
I then went to target and said I had bought the voyager bulkhead for my little cousin, but he already had one, so i'd like to return it, and they had them in stock, so they let me. I got $50.00 out of it!
The postage can bit a little high, but still much cheaper for the product, and cheaper than it would be shipping from the US. I've probably bought about $1,200.00 AUD worth from the store, and apart from that one minor incident, everything else has been great!
Hope this helps.

So far I only had one order with them: The Perfect Effect Rumble and Frenzy set. They had deal where you ordered both you paid like 65 for them. Everywhere else it was at 75, before shipping. Shipping was 5 bucks plus 15 cents for insurance. So I saved 5 bucks plus like another 8 in shipping. Bare in mind that both of these guys together were under pound. AS for the travel time of the package, it was the roughly the same amount of time as if I ordered with BBTS, which is shocking because I live in Illinois and BBTS is based in Wisconsin.
BBTS uses UPS as their cheapest shipping route which has a base price of like 7-8 bucks plus like $1.20 a pound. I was expecting double the price and travel time for shipping, but they use the Hong Kong post office, and then it get transferred to priority mail (If I remember it correctly). I'm thinking of order from them again, but that's if they provide a better deal than domestic competitors. I don't remember what they're pre-order payment options are.

I ordered a MIB G1 Masterforce Gaihawk from them. All pictures indicated no breaks or missing pieces.
He comes and one of the shoulder landing gear is snapped off, no piece so it must have happened previous to sending to me. Probably was there and just never was looked at when they were inspecting.
I took lots of photos, and e-mailed them with my product order, the link to their listing for it, and no mention of breaks.
They offered me $30.00 USD in store merchandise. Nice, but I haven't bought anything else to use take advantage of the store credit.
I also ordered some WST's (Twincast and Shackwave), and Perfect Effect Frenzy and Rumble. No problems with them. However, in the US, I still prefer BBTS, or TFSource, or eBay.
