And if no one has mentioned it before, movie scout Swindle (orange scout drone) is useful to give hands for 2007 voyager starscream and his thundercracker recolor instead of clumsy finger missiles. Just wedge the ball on the fist very careful between the center of the barrels.

I learned about that Starscream hands trick from TFWiki (real helpful guys!)

Here's something new to this thread: something I still haven't realised

What Gundam stand can be used for both Siege Voyager Optimus Prime and Siege Megatron?

Because everytime I ask, someone either gives me a vague answer, or an answer that then gets a reply like: "Um, actually, I tried it and it didn't work cuz it broke."

I want to know whether to use the Gundam Action Stand 3, 4, or 5, and that's it.

I learned today from watching Chuck's review of Red Wing what to do with Siege Starscream's neck flap.

This whole time I've just been tucking back into his body like he came out of the box and using the boosters as a gap filler. I still kinda like the boosters up top though.

Also remembered Movie High Score 100

Looks like a game controller and a gorilla but i never knew he had a unfolding hinge part in his waist which makes him lean correctly.
Never knew for a very long time. I really disliked that his shoulder armor/buttons fell off too easily

Im still sad that i lost him

Now they should do actual Masterpiece versions of the real gear that is life size and actually, well, functions as real gear in alt mode. Like this guy could be a real 3rd party PS3 (well it's be 5 now by the time it came out) controller.

Bludgeon and Blastwave :RID-BOTS: seem to have one thing in common. Their unique cannon design leaves the peg hole on their head and arms with alot of room for minicons and weapon experiments. 8-)

Slipstream is the only i've tested yet but Prime Masters might also work as main cannons with their bulk. But not much 5mm peg weapons i can experiment

Removing TR Cerebros's/Legends Grand's battery replacement screw can sort of give him an ab crunch. May harm the figure long-term though

Siege Jetfire's larger black guns actually can separate into two parts each. There's not really a lot you can do with the "tips" being they lack proper posts and holes, but the other sections look a bit like missile launchers. I guess you can sort of put the tips into his fists as daggers or stakes (like maybe he's hunting cybertronian vampires? :-? ).

Not particularly useful though.

I’d posted that in the Siege thread but nobody really noticed. You can give Siege Prime some wicked Jetfire shoulder armor with Armada / Stormbringer style arm guns.

Cyberverse Warrior Class Sting Shot Bumblebee can do this. By not fold the windshield down while turning into robot you can make him kinda look like Gobot Bug-Bite.

Got most of the Super Gobots and Bug-Bite is one of my favorite.

Might be old news to some, but Studio Series Jetfire has a storage compartment for the Prime chestpiece he comes with (or Prime's if you have them swapped out) right behind his own chest plate. Fits right in, doesn't interfere with any mode.

Very cool, I did not know that.

Me neither. So that make it new news. ;)

Doesn't matter as long as it's new to you.

I just dropped in to give your avatar a shout out. Final boss in Blaster Master recreated in Minecraft correct? BM is one of my favorite NES games of all time :x

This one concerns PotP Blot. Ever wondered why he has those slots on his knee caps? I suspect they're for the gun stand when in leg mode. The instructions have the collapsed legs facing back, the usual orientation for legs modes (since they're taking vehicle mode as a starting point), but turn the waist 180 degrees so the legs face forward, the stand now has a place to slot into!

You may need a new spot for Blot's gun tho...

Taken some pictures, hopefully this will clear things up:

This is how the Instructions tell you to do the leg:
BlotLeg1.jpg

However, look at the back:
BlotLeg2.jpg

So we do the hokey pokey and turn the waist around:
BlotLeg3.jpg

That's what it's all about:
BlotLeg4.jpg

Also, Blot's monster head piece has two sets of attachment points for the body. The ones directly behind the red circles are for limb mode, but the ones behind the silver circles are for robot mode: those allow the hinges to collapse fully and make it less backpacky.

Thanks for the pics, they got me curious enough to dig Abominus out of it's hidey hole. I might be doing it wrong, but I find the tab thing slots in more than pegs in. I wonder if it's by design or just a happy coincidence? I took some pics of before and after, but I think overall I like the normal look better as the leg feels more balanced and I have somewhere to put Blot's gun. Just in case I'm doing something wrong, have some pics.

Hmmmm, now I'm torn .... after looking at the pics I see that Blot now matches Sinnertwin better. :-? Well I do like options and "options are a good thing".

The "legs forward" variant also smoothes out the front and back a bit more I think. Plus, that's what his Seacon retools Lobclaw/Nautilator and Gulf/Skalor use.
