Frozen in Antarctic Ice for hundreds of years, MEGATRON is finally free, and his might will make the Earth quake, and the stars fall from the sky. As one of the most dangerous Transformers ever to stalk the galaxy, he has no known weaknesses and only one purpose - to capture the AllSpark and rule the Universe. Nothing, neither the Humans' armies or his ancient enemy OPTIMUS PRIME can stand in his way!

Click here to view over 265 photos in our exclusive gallery of Megatron. The gallery includes many comparison pictures with G1 Megatron, Movie Leader Class Optimus Prime as well as the other Decepticons from the movie. Enjoy!

Nice pics. Especially the Jazz-stomp. Between the Leader Class and the Voyager, which is the better of the two? I like the overall look of the Voyager better, but the Leader (with the exception of the pink shoulder spikes) looks more menacing.

That thing is hideous. The voyager one is a hell of a lot better. Leader megs only has one thing going for him. He can do this.

Didn't see any form of Megatron today whatsoever, at any store.

At that rate, I didn't see the lesser (voyager class??) Prime figure as well. I wasn't really out looking for it tho; I wanted my Leader class instead and purchased that.

Nice pictures, the figure is a lot better looking than the old pics I seen, but it's still a really ugly Megatron toy, to me anyway....sigh. I wonder, if Megatron has ice on his face all the time in movie, and that's why they made this toy so icy blue looking?

a metallic paint job would do wonders for this figure

...a bag over the head of this toy is the only way it'd become any better.
I do not like the movie Megatron whatsoever. Might as well simply call it another Decepticon and end it now.

All the complaints about Megatron should look this, Megatron should look that was just a bunch of hot air...
Megatron looks Megatron enough to me!
Starscream I already have but this guy is up next...

I had the same problem man. Not ONE Megatron of any kind to be found. Not One!

I got Voyager Starscream, and he kicks even more @ss than i thought he would!

I like this toy though I still think it's a horrible Megatron. It would've made a great "Thunderwing" toy with the persona of the G1 Pretender. Maybe we'll get the Voyager class Megatron repainted as Thunderwing at some point.

No hot air here. Just wish that they had put as much effort into giving us elements of G1 Megatron in this design as they did with Optimus Prime. Ah well ... what's done is done.

Huh, so his head can move. Nice! Maybe I will get him.

The part between his legs at the rear makes him look like a shellfish. And those long claws remind me of chopsticks. Lobster Megs has waited millions of years for his special fried rice and he's not happy about it!

Hmm...to my knowledge, these are the elements that g1 megs and Movie megs share:

-Silver (duh)
-A helmet
-Wide shoulders
-Long legs
-Arm gun

I can't take credit for this...that was WIkipedia  . And as for thie figure itself...they could've at least TRIED to hide that head, instead of just lat useless flap. I wouldv'e bought this - hell I would've bought ANY of the Movie Megs figs if it weren't for the badly hidden heads.

I love that backlit shot that shows off all the light-piping in the head and torso. Also the casual holding up of smaller characters :)

That Decepticon group shot makes me very excited. It also serves as a reminder of how honkin' big Starscream is in robot mode. I can hearly wait.

This fella and leader Prime are due to show up in UK Toys'r'us stores next week. With the special offer on it might actually be cheaper to buy them locally than to import for a change!

Another fantastic pictorial. Made me want the figure even more so than I did originally.

...so I bought him on Amazon. Free Shipping was offered, but hell no. I'm paid for Standard Shipping. I can't wait an extra 3-5 days for him. No.

@opjet:
If the design for Masterpiece Megs was used in the movie, all it takes was a kick in the knee from Prime and it'll all be over.
