Right... well I've been looking all over for one of these and i'd prefer not to have one of the 2 on ebay. I've checked BBTS, TFsource, Amazon etc. If anybody could help me find one ( Or alternatively a BM Obsidian and Tankor) I would be very grateful.

Thanks.

Ah, Universe. Those were the days.. . . .

I'm sorry, I can be of very little help to you, but I'd recommend the BM Tankor over the Universe one simply because of the drab paint of U-Tankor. I think the BM version looks better, but that's just me. Obsidian though, can't go wrong with that little guy.

Ahh how may times I passed on the two pack when it was out.

BBTS has the R.I.D. repaint of Obsidian in desert camo:

And they do have BM Tankor.

If you want them MISB or even MIB that's going to be very difficult.

Is the two-pack really that rare? I guess I was lucky when I came across it during the dutch TF Convention :)

Anyhow, another alternative is to try The Carbombya Bazaar. Maybe another member can hook you up.

It probably is by now, but like Overcracker was insinuating, it was all over the place in the States when it was first released. Like, compared to that Stockade/Stampede (Yeah? With the tank drone and the Unicorn guy. . . ) pack, which I at least only saw once, Tankor/Obsidian was everywhere. You couldn't walk through a toy department without seeing a handful of them.
And it figures, right? The ones you passed up five years ago becuase they were so plentiful are the ones you really want now? Science is a mystery to man.... :D

Not terribly rare, but since OP said he'd prefer not to go to ebay, its going to be harder to find an online store that actually has some in stock at this point.

In a simple Ebay search I came up with 9 in different states. From loose but complete for $12.99 all the way up to $50.00 for a MISB.

But yes, I saw that two pack at least 10 different times in like 4 different stores throughout 2 years.

I should have picked them up for $9.99 the last time I saw them. But just could not bring myself to for some reason.

By the way Amazon does have one of the two packs for 60 bucks

Keep looking. I see that pack on eBay all the time.

If you're looking for a particular item on eBay, you can't just check once and give up. You have to keep checking at least once a week.

Thanks for all the replies, I wanted an Obsidian and Tankor but after seeing BM's Obsidian paint job (bright green? WTF?) I decided I would far prefer a Universe version. And yes, I too prefer BM's Tankor paintjob than Universe's but... It get's me Obsidian aswell so.. And yes I'd prefer MISB tbh.

EDIT: I actually grew up watching Beast wars and never really saw Beast Machines. Everyone complained about how awful it was and stuff so I never really wanted to. But I recently managed to get the entire series on DVD for 3 bucks. :ic$: SO I gave it a try and... It's pretty good. I'd say apart from the ugly designs of the maximals and the whole "hippie" primal attitude, it really isn't bad. Plus :x Vehicons :x
