I'm just curious, my vintage G1 Bruticus, the gray chest plate does not clip firmly well or want to be attached onto Onslaught. It tends to pop out from Onslaught metal chest. My question for those that have the metal chest Onslaught, do you guys have this issue? What about those that have the plastic chest Onslaught or the Encore Bruticus, does the chest plate give you guy any issue? I got it from Ebay last year but never got a chance to ask.

I have the RID repaint, Mega-Octane, and his 'bruticus' chestpiece doesn't fit well either

Its an issue in any version of the mold as far as I'm aware. The chest piece clips in extremely precariously and tends to fall off at the smallest movement. Heck you can't even pose his arms out in front of him, because the chest piece pops off, from the lack of clearance.

Thanks guys for the feedback. I didn't know the chest plate has issued from G1 line to the current Encore line. Here, I thought it was the material issue. Maybe the plastic peg from the chest plate and metal hole from Onslaught doesn't connect well. Right now, I'm using the toy twisted tie to wrap around the chest plate onto Onslaught to prevent the falling.
Also, I notice the double barrel on the back of Bruticus doesn't connect well. But, at least it stays up.

I must've been lucky as a collector, then - I've had three plastic chest Onslaughts, none of which have chest-plate or rear-gun problems.
Odd question - how are you positioning Onslaughts arms? I know the plate doesn't clip on properly when they're downwards.

When combined as Bruticus, Onslaught's arms have to point back all the time. Also, I don't know how many people know this, but there's a catch on the underside of the chest plate that clips on a tab under Onslaught's crotch.

I recently found my G1 Onslaught in a Transformers case sometime ago, but he was intact and all parts was with him, but his chest piece is fine and actaully pretty tight on my version and no issues with the guns either..
