I am highly irritated...

...at the fact that Hasbro is not releasing an Animated Omega Supreme. I'm not a huge fan of major characters not being given a toy release, and Omega was pretty much one of the main characters of season 3. I mean, they even have figures of Sari, Fanzone, and Prof Sumdac available at http://www.tfsource.com/products/view/product_id/692/.

On the bright side, I'm so glad they're releasing Rodimus and Ironhide figures...Hot Rod was one of my favorite G1 figures, and the TFA Rodimus comes as close to it as I think they could get.

I'm disappointed by no Omega Supreme as well, but those human characters are *NOT* official products. They are from a third party manufacturer Impossible Toys: http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... der/14275/

Those human characters are fan-made items. Hasbro had no hand in those being produced. As for your irritation, I feel ya. So do many other fans of Animated and its' toys. By the way, welcome aboard new guy!(or gal, whatever the case may be). CAUTION! Seibertron contains nuts.

Omega would be a great toy.

I think outside of the movie line, the days of $40+ sized toys has passed.

There should be an Animated Omega Supreme to stand beside his G1 and Energon counterparts. Hasbro... *Shakes head in disappointment*

What was the last Supreme Class toy we had? Cybertron Screamer?

The way those ROTF Devastators are warming shelves (in the UK at least), I think you may be right CP...

Well look at it, How well have toys bigger than leaders sold in recent years. Both Ultimate BBs Failed, most likely BO BB will as well, Even the Supreme Devastator was. Leaders have had a hard time. Grimmy is and MP, so he will probably be scalped and bought by collectors. Skywarp was on clearance for 15 bucks at some places, people were picking him up 10 at a time. Like CP said, the days of toys like that are long gone. We are going to have to look to third party companies for things like that, but I don't think they would attempt it.

Supreme Devy sold pretty well in my area. I haven't seen one in months and I don't recall him ever being on clearance. The Supreme TFA Prime on the other hand was a total shelf warmer. I saw him on the clearance isle for $15.00 at one point. On topic, I'm also hugely disappointed that we didn't get TFA Omega.

Well that ruins any chance of getting a WFC Omega or Trypticon.

Back on topic, I have never seen Animated. EVER.

Aren't we over this by now?

I'm a little more sorry that triple changing Megatron will never see the light of day. That actually has a prototype. Animated Hot Shot and Rhinox also looked pretty boss, based off the prototypes.

If we're gonna hope beyond hope, maybe Animated will do so well in Japan that they'll release those prototypes as full-fledged Transformers. Yeah. Let's just hope.

I wouldn't be upset to see them as "build a figures" have a limb, 2 halves of the body, the claws and the head come out with 8 deluxe figures.

I'm kind of disappointed by the demise of the large figure in general. Cybertron Starscream is cool, and the planetformers are cool, and I really like G1 basebots and while I don't have movie Devastator, he's always been on my want list, but he's just never around in the stores it seems. The Ultimate BBs were terrible though. I had the one from the first movie, as a $100 impluse buy, and boy howdy was that a mistake.
I'm not in favor of an Animated Omega Supreme in specific, but of the larger toys in general. Like, I like Leader class toys, as long as they look cool and are fun.

They'd have to be at least Supreme class. Judging from the size difference between WFC Megatron and Omega Supreme in the game, the only "accurate scale" for Omega would be human size, while Megs remains in his deluxe class scale.

In the WFC game, after Megs, Soundwave and Breakdown defeat Omega, Megs hops onto Omega's "hips". Judging from the wide-shot, if Megs was the size of a "real-life" deluxe toy, Omega would be the size of an actual human.

Same case with Trypticon.

Then again, I'd be more than content to have Supreme class Omega and Trypticon battling it out on my bookshelf...even that is gonna take a miracle to happen.

I had to google the triple changing Megatron but it's a shame that it never came to pass. It would have been a great figure.

I think it's Hasbro's general opinion that Deluxe-size, being about 5-6" tall is the idea size for a Transformer. It makes sense: it's a good size, being small enough to be hand-held and playable and large enough to be articulated and (hopefully) well-designed, all while being at an affordable price point. For every person clamoring to get the new $50 Trypticon we'll have two people complaining about how it's too expensive and they can't afford it until next week when they're all sold out.

That being said, I'm with you guys. Not just for Omega Supreme (which would sell like hotcakes) but we haven't even had a true baseformer since what, Armada? Energon if I'm missing something? I miss the days of being able to turn my floor into a warzone that wasn't just a featureless battlefield. Also, I don't count Cybertron Metroplex as a base, he was an earth mover.

I know a lot of people have expressed interest to FunPub for Omega as a repaint of Cybertron Menasor. The mold was also the basis of Omega Doom in the comics. Maybe we'll see a future BotCon or TFCC release?

Aenemis (I think that's how it's spelled...) is currently working on an Animated Omega Supreme kit that folks can buy. Problem is, his work is usually gutbustingly expensive.

I do think Hasbro could do one thing...and it would be workable.

Make a Leader Class Omega Supreme, lights and sounds, and make some mini figures like the old G1 decoy toys made to interact with him.

It would be a sellable pricing range, it would have enough gimmicks to impress kids, the small figures, maybe even some Legends Classes could actually work with him like a playset that's also a robot and transforms.

I know a great many of us would buy that in a heartbeat. It could be redecoed and remolded into Lugnut.

C'mon, someone at Hasbro or TakaraTomy hear this plea. We will buy it.

Then I recommend a lynch mob. One that specifically targets kneecaps and shins of parents who don't want Omega Supreme. We go around, we crack 'em, we get 'em to sign a petition, online and in print.

It's gonna be costly due to travel expenses and what not, but it's doable.

Anyone got good kneecap crackin' tools?

Weird my post got deleted, but here's my two cents: I don't think it is necessarily the end of the Supreme class toy, but rather it is harder now a days to get one to market for Hasbro/TakaraTomy. Half of the problem is the parents, which we know. The other half is popularity. We did get an Animated Supreme Optimus Prime, ROFT Dev, and Ultimate Bumblebee. The reason why that they worked so well/were made is that these characters were presented in such a way that the demand was created for them. Ultimate Bumblebee and ROFT Dev were made because the movies are extremely well known and both characters had significant screen time/moments in the movie. Animated Supreme Optimus Prime was made instead of Omega because of the simple fact that Optimus had way more screen time than Omega. While Omega was heavily used in season 3, you have to stop and think about it: what was he used as more, a character or a setting? There in lies the problem with the giant bots. Story wise they can only be used sparingly because they're simply too much to account for any writer. Why send out Animated Optimus, Bulkhead, Bumblebee, Ratchet and Prowl when Omega can just simply step on the Decepticons? Then you'd won't have enough material for a even half a season.

But it can still be done. I think the best bet is for the giant bots is to follow the Headmasters Japanese example. For example: Fort Max was not only was a major setting for the show, but also a major character at the same time and the same place. So for the next Supreme toy to work they have to be sold like any GI Joe vehicle: you get the vehicle and a figure to pilot it. However, it being a Transformers toy means the smaller guy has to combine with bigger one somehow.

Energon Omega Supreme is an example of another method: Have a main character combine with the giant bot. You get a popular by default (Due to screen time) character becoming cooler by being a combiner.

As long as were talking about omega supreme I also think that wfc omega supreme deserve to made considering he was one of the two major bosses in that game.
