Richmond, VA must be completely backwards from everywhere else.

I have yet to see any WFC figures at any TRU's here. However, Drift and Thrust are everywhere. It's like they can't give them away. I've seen that one guy on here can't find HA Barricade either. He's the only HA figure they have right now and I mean like 7 of him per store.

The biggest thing? Animated Arcee. She had her own peg that was completely full at one and almost full at the other.

If this was your first post I'd write you off as a troll.

Have you considered spreading the love?

If I were you I'd be buying that stuff up and eBaying it to make some extra cash. Those figures are MIA elsewhere. The WFC figures were in your area but were gone. Have patience though, your local Target will be getting tons of them soon enough!

But that would make me a horrible scalper and I can't do that to fellow fans.

This definitely doesn't make you a scalper. If the product has been sitting there for months, people in your area have already bought what they want or don't want what they see. I'm sure your fellow fans across the pond or in other parts of the country would really appreciate it if you'd help them out.

And if you don't want to make a buck or two on these items, put them up on eBay for buy-it-nows at the same price you bought them for. I personally don't think there's anything wrong with you making a few bucks in this instance for your time, gas, eBay fees, etc. This would definitely be providing a service and not make you a scalper.

I read your post last night and knew someone would have the scalper response, but I totally agree. If the toys are just sitting their clogging the shelve you would doing everyone a favor: yourself, fellow collectors, and the retailers.

I'll see what I can do next payday. If I can grab some extras I'll sell them to guys on here for what I paid plus MAYBE an extra dollar for gas money. No promises though. I'm poor.

Yeah, there's definately a BIG difference between doing buying toys that have been there on the shelves for months and selling them than buying all the stock of brandnew and hard to get toys just to fleece collectors on ebay.

Then for goodness's sake do the ebay thing and make a few dollars! Then sell them to these guys for cost. You won't be so poor, these guys get the toys they want for a reasonable amount.

I agree that it's only "scalping" if you snatch them all up before anyone else has a chance. If they've been sitting there and nobody is buying them, better to put them on eBay where fans can get them. And if you make a FEW dollars for your trouble, I'm OK with that.

Does anyone know: What do stores like Target, Walmart, and TRU do with unsold inventory? Do they send it back to the distributor/manufacturer for a refund, or what? Just curious.

I live in Richmond too! Well, Chester anyway. But I havent see any WFC toys either, i havent really gone anywhere in the past few days, so maybe some came up somewhere. I know Target was selling all their TFs half off to clear off the shelves for Generations and HFTDs.

Dude, I went to the Target and Wal-Mart in Chester yesterday. They didn't have ANYTHING at Target. It was just demolished. Wal-mart just had deluxe RotF figures. It's like slim pickings everywhere except TRU's here.

I'm in Richmond too, and the TRU off Midlothian Turnpike has the WFC toys plus a ton of Generations and all the new PCC figures too. I picked up the last Arcee (FINALLY) and Drift today while there.
