tfcon and classics OP

$250-$300 tops. People were selling the TFcon set at Botcon for around $200 off an on during the con. I personally wouldn't pay more than $300. It's a great set but it got expensive fast. Good luck!

I would much rather go for a loose classics prime or Henkei prime and get the D.I.A. commander from BBTS for $105. I wouldn't pay more than $170-$180

You're not really gonna find decent prices for a loose Classics or Henkei one. If you can find one at all. The Tfcon version matches the Hasbro release, The DIA with the chrome added matches the Henkei release better. It also does not include the energon cube "suitcase" Either way, you're paying approximately the same amount.

I have every version of the FP classics prime armor ( Shadow, city, Tfcon, DIA) and I didn't pay over $200 for any of them..My opinion is always have a price in your head when it comes to Ebay..If one auctions slips away another one will pop up, eventually

I wouldn't go above $250..the prime being MISB adds a little but that is still nothing more than a $50 fig.. I know at Botcon the Tfcon was going for $200 avg..It dip a couple of times, I did see one go for $175 but that was a 1 item sale...

One of the online retailers (BBTS maybe) has Henkei Prime restocked, so you culd probably save some secondary market money with that. I also agree that the DIA commander set looks really nice with the Henkei Prime.

Is a simple, stand-alone, Henkei or Classics Prime, without the trailer for cheap too much to ask for these days?

I sold a Classics Prime at botcon for 30 bucks, that's about as good as it gets.

I wouldn't pay more than $100, because that's the most I think it's worth (to me).

I think the TFCon version is ridiculous. You get different paint app colors, some extra apps, and a suitcase with energon cubes. Oooh. Gee.

The D.I.A. version loses the case and a few paint apps, plus the paints are different, but the chrome makes him stand out, and he's far more affordable.

I got my set of MISB Optimus and MISB D.I.A. for $140.00 shipped. Shipped!

I wouldn't pay any price for the TFCon version. Not when the D.I.A. does the exact same thing. Exact.

Actually, I had both Classics Prime and Henkei Convoy. I tried them both in the armor, and I look all over, head to toe, and Classics Optimus works better in the D.I.A. armor, except for the chrome.

If you look at the stripes on the arm piece, and the stripes on Prime, they're almost a perfect match.

The color shades are just about equally matched, while the Henkei version is a bit darker in some spots, while brighter in others, while Optimus seems to be an almost perfect match in the color department.

Now, I do realize he needs chrome on the bumper and grill to match the set, but color for color, stripes...Optimus fits the D.I.A. set so much better.

And you can do one of two things:

1.) See how the armor completely turns Optimus into a new character, thus the chrome is explainable and the matte bumper is forgivable.

or

2.) Chrome the bumper yourself.

Either way, this was the way I went, and I'm glad I did. I love the set, and found it for a rather reasonable price, especially MIB.

Screw the TFCon version. Don't need it, don't want it.

Well wasn't the TFCon version limited to 500 pieces...not that it matters becsue the TFCOn version was selling for only $250 when it came out anyway. To me it was just too expensive when the DIA Version is half of that.

I heard complaints about the chrome on the DIA version, but I like it.

As far as restocking of Henkei Convoy, I think it was only RobotKingdom who had it restocked a feew months ago. I got one for $45. Shipping wasn't bad either.

No complaints here. This set and Warbot Defender proved to me that FP knows what they're doing.

Ah I remember that! i was gonna get and try to resell it at the show but i figured it should go to someone who needed it..I remember getting my shadow commander for $120 from $180.. You had a serious haul at Botcon BoB!

In all honesty it's quite affordable these days.heck i got my takara prime through amazon a year or so ago for 29.99 shipped....The craze to get all of the FP trailer armor has worn off..They've been in the market for awhile now and it's not quite as hot as it was..Thus the classics prime just isn't as desired.. Ultra magnus is still a tuffy to find and nemesis prime is easy if your patient..

It's amazing how FP affects the market isn't it
