About this version, are there any differences between this version and the previous version, or the old (1986-1990) version?

What once was yellow, now will become gold.
Yeah, that sounds like an oracle, but it's the truth. Not sure if the 2010 'shining' Predaking will contain die cast metal parts again: but I'm guessing yes.

1986 version:
1. USA version (1st run die-cast)
2. USA version (2nd run up all plastics)
3. Takara version (all plastic)
2005 up
1. Japan only re-issue (with die cast part but weapons' edges rounded off)
2010:
1. Yellow parts now gold
2. Weapons (speculation rounded off edges)
3. Die cast contents (speculation maybe the same)
4. Decals (based on photos with borderline high lights)

Now if E-hobby could just sort me out with a jungle themed one I'll be happy....

Weapons' edges round off, from TTomy? I didn't know. If this was Hasbro, that's a different story.
Hm, I'm looking at the 2004 Predaking Reissue and compared it with the Cybertronian guide book, I don't see any difference in the weapons. All the swords and guns in the 1986 and Reissue Predakings look round edge to me. Am I look it correctly?

It's sharper bro'. Surprised myself. The first release 1986 USA Metal version (The 'cons with swords have a much more sharper edge) while the subsequent Japan release around 1986/the end of 1986 had a more rounded edge. This is where the re-issue was based from(except it now has metal parts.)

That's interesting. Now, I know what to look for the time I see the US metal Predaking.

I am pretty excited about this Predaking reissue, since I never owned this combiner. Is anyone purchasing the Crazy Devy sets?
