I recently acquired one of my holy grails - Mechabot 1. While checking out pictures online of other Mechabot 1's, I found a pre-transformers Omega Supreme with yellow tracks and a whole heck of a lot of chrome. Needless to say, I want it!! I've looked all over e-bay for it, but since I don't know what it's called, I've come up empty so far. Is this a KO, or is this Omegatron from the Convertors line. Or, is this Mechabot 1 and I actually picked up Omegatron?? If anyone can help clear this up for me, I'd greatly appreciate it!! Also, is it pretty rare? What would be a good price for one? Sounds like a KO to me. Omegatron looks like this:

JelZe GoldRabbit - thanks for the quick response. So based on that pic, do Mechabot 1 and Omegatron look identical, because that is what I have. They both have a MB1 sticker on their legs, so how do you know which one is which?? I'm going to post a pic of the chromed version as soon as I figure out how to. Thanks again!

Just a link will do fine. And you're in luck. Aside from the box, Omegatron and Mechabot-1 are identical:

It even mentions the chrome and yellow version, which strengthens my suspicion of it being fake.

There is another version of this. The box isn't flat but kind of rectagular standing up. Maybe that's the one you are looking for.

I like the red clips on ol' Omegatron there. For a figure that doesn't do much in the way of posability or anything, Omega sure looks cool in different colors.

That's cool. I have always wanted to Mechabot 1, for it's darker color scheme and all. That one would be my University of Michigan Wolverines Supreme or something.

DavidT, that is exactly it!! How much you want for it?? ; ) Actually, do you have any info on it - who made it, is it considered a KO, what's the quality of the plastic, etc. Thanks for posting the pic!

I dunno what it's worth... it's still sealed in it original plastic, so the quality of it is unknown to me... All I've been told is that it's the original Omega before Hasbro ever bought the rights to the mold... whether that's true or not, I dunno... it's the absolute only one I've ever seen or heard of...

Many years ago I had other pics of it and tried to find out info. when I was a member of TFormers.com, so I dunno if maybe the pics you saw were of mine or a different one... Once a pic is on the internet is gets everywhere...

It did not come with its original box... I bought it off Ebay and below are pics of everything it came with...

DavidT, thanks again for the pics. I've done a little more research, and so far I've determined that it's not the original Mechabot 1 or Omegatron, but a KO of them. Still, I would be very interested in adding this to my collection. If you ever want to sell it, let me know. Thanks again!! - phatty
