GenZhou has posted a new gallery on the KOToys.com forums that highlights the upcoming HFTD Voyager figure Highbrow, originally introduced by Hasbro at BotCon this year. The figure, a World War II styled bomber, has a twin props that spin when the engines are pressed down. Also highlighted is Highbrow's battle mask that when lowered, resembles flight goggles. It appears that these figures may have incomplete paint applications and GenZhou acknowledges that the rear tail fins are missing.

The figure is expected in wave 3 of the HFTD releases, sometime around early September.

Real nice! Gonna have him.
The "battle mask" kinda make him look goofy..

I am digging this trend towards outdated aircraft, I hope hasbro does more.

Not just aircraft...remember Hubcap.
I think a line of early model vehicles would be awesome. Model Ts, maybe even a Zeppelin, a B-17...that would be awesome if they could do the alt-modes right.
I know the name of this plane but just can't think of it right now...and it's bugging the hell out of me.

EDIT: It's a P-38 Lightning by Lockheed! Finally remembered!
One other note: look at his torso very carefully then picture in your mind what bomber jackets looked like in WW2. His torso could be a stylization of a bomber jacket! Very, VERY cool figure.

I know-I searched quite a bit to try and find it before posting this. I'm still looking.
EDIT: Lockheed P-38 Lightning

I really like the look of this figure. The face looks pretty cool to me, but I have to agree that the battle mask is ugly as hell. Still, it's cool because it's an homage to old school flight helmets.
I don't know why I thought this mold was Deluxe class. The fact that it's a Voyager is only making this figure that much more awesome! Plus, I'm really surprised that Hasbro went the extra mile to give this guy fists instead of just copping out and letting him have propellor hands.

I'll be getting two of this guy, dad's a big fan of the P-38 so one will stay in the box if he's packaged in vehicle mode.

Ah battle masks. Reminds me of Beast Wars. Speaking of which, wasn't this the figure that had the alternate Obsidian head?

If they make a zeppelin(blimp, whatever) I would most like to see them use the HOS Scourge design. That thing was wicked. Come to think of it, I don't think we've had a transforming blimp since the original Machine Robo days(seems like I remember a blimp gobot). As for this guy, bought on sight. never going to use the battle mask though, makes him look like a cgi grasshopper that would be voiced by steve buscemi. That didn't make much since, i've been getting tattooed on for the past 3 hours, I think I may be getting delirious. Back to the chair!

Holy Primus does that thing have a horrible face!! It reminds me waaay too much of BW Rattrap...and I don't like it one bit. The rest of the bot is ok, and if I had never seen the face, I would have bot it just because of the alt. But erk...wow...no.

Without the mask, he looks more like a 'con with that grin, with the mask he looks like a Movie style Animated Twin, Pass!

The face is okay, but the mask is keeping me from being ecstatic about this guy. If it just looked more mechanical instead of insectoid...hmmm, maybe he trained with the Zentradi?
Still, bought on sight; '1943: The Battle of Midway' (despite occurring a year late) was always my favorite overhead shooter, and when G2 Rotor Force Ransack came out (the first vintage TF aircraft, an amphibious F4U-1A Corsair), I imagined the next year we'd see "Deluxe Rotor Force" guys with 2 launchers, warranting alt modes like PCC Searchlight's chopper mode, and a P-38 whose propellers ended up as shoulder launchers in robot mode. He may not be able to fire 'em, but for me this guy is a decade and a half overdue.
Also, the name Highbrow has really gone all over the place lately hasn't it? In Animated he was a stuffy Autobot elder due to the name, and now he's a young hot-shot pilot due to being the first TF with twin propellers! I love Headmaster homages, but I hope "Highbrow" doesn't get tossed around so much that it loses all meaning, like "Prowl" did starting in Beast Wars.

Sweet! Nice design. Someone to go up against movie 1's Incinerator in a to the death propeller fight. As far as the mask goes, I'm glad that they are trying different things like this as opposed to just a plain ol' robot face. It makes the character more interesting and increases display options.
Plus, he's got 2 hand held chainguns to boot! Total win!
Hasbro's been doing really well with the hand-held weapons lately. Hope the trend continues!

Hahaha, that's AWESOME! I want one of those, that's too groovy to pass up. Battery operated spinning blades, battle mask, WWII based desighn, that's perfect!

I wonder what the Decepticon repaint will be?

Dangit! Why'd you have to go mentioning the jacket?!
Now I actually like this guy. If wasn't for that head, he'd be a buy for me.
