I just got my Henkei Hound from TFsource.com...and I was shocked to find that the pack-in comic included with him was not the one that has Hound and Cheetor's adventures in it, but the one that I got with Alert that featured Red Alert, Smokescreen, and Octane. I thought the specific toys came with specific comics? Or is it random?

Your Hound must be a re-release then. Anybody's Convoys have Alert's comic as well?

It is the rerelease - I thought it would be the same as the original release. Some of the paint apps are...not the quality that I've come to expect from the Henkei line as well. And I just got done doing some wrist surgery on him to allow his right hand to fully extend. Takara, I am disappoint.

The mold has degraded already?

I don't know about degraded - it looked extra plastic from the sprues hadn't been trimmed all the way. His hand wouldn't rotate out until I trimmed some of the black plastic off his wrists. But it definitely feels less "solid" than my other Henkei figures. I don't have the Universe version, so I don't know if that had the same problems.

yeah I got the re-issue Henkei Hound too. It feels kinda KO-ish and not as shiny as my friends Henkei Hound he got way back last year. The arms feel like rough plastic even my Universe Hound has smooth plastic on the arms. The grill looks dull but not so dull that it looks like Universe Hound. But he still stands out and even the color is about correct. Still it's better than Henkei Thundercracker.

A friend got Henkei Hound from BBTS, and he had Red Alert's manga as well. Phooey. :/
