Hey, i just got my reissue today, so much better then the august 13th shipping date it had originially.
Anyway, after looking at it, i don't care that rewind is not in there, i can buy him for 20 off ebay. Just like soundwave and his 4 cassettes, the box looks bad ass, and the extra thing that goes over it is great. Nothing beats having a MISB soon to be MIB blaster or any G1 figure for that matter. i paid 56.00 for him, if you look at the originial blastter reissue was 59 at first when takara first released it then went up to 99 and a little over and only came with steel jaw.. you get two more cassets for a great price plus mint blaster that usualy runs about 40 dollars for everything, sometimes more, or usually more.

I guess what i am saying is that it rocks.. literally. Can't wait for piranacons. It is nice to get the things i had but lost when i was a kid and did not have. like a fresh sky lynx for 50 dollars or an omega for 89. They need to get off thier ass and release overlord for me as i have always wanted him. A nothing fort max reissue would be nice, should of bought the one that came out with RID in 2000 that was going for 120.00 everywhere. i know collectors say, it will depreciate the value of theirs well.. touch ****,.. i want one and don't want to pay 600 dollars for the same ones that get passed around all the time. Besides, after 6 months to a year, they will be gone again and the prices will go back up for fort max on ebay and everywhere else..

Got my shipping noticde today..In all honesty i was skeptical to do busniess with HTS for SDCC exclusives again after the debacle that was Soundwave last year..Shipped in a giant box with no padding and damaged etc etc.. The packaging on this one sold me though, it was really unique and genuine to blaster himself..Can't wait to get it..

I'm not sure if I understood everything you said, but I got the general idea, and I couldn't agree more.
G1 reissues are great! 2009 Soundwave was awesome, and I cannot wait for 2010 Blaster.

ohh.. shipping was not the best. he was in great condition and so was the box . also it being in that red autobot blaster thing probably helped protect it.. there was that cardboard type paper in box 4 times bigger then needed. My sound wave was the same way but came good. i don't know if he came ups or fed ex. fed ex seems to take care of their stuff. fed ex delivered mine. The eject look so pretty and new.. same with ramhorn and steal jaw plus i have a box for 3 cassettes. On a side note, i know there are knock offs and i have owned them but if they released the aeiralbots and stunticons again, i would pay whatever i had to for them.


ANd yes.. G1 reissues are great, especially if you missed out on the takara ones like blaster when they first came out.i wish i would of gotten the bookcase prime when he was 79 dollars for 2 years.. now he is 200 usualy. i have the encore reissue but would of loved that one..so it is really nice when i can get a hold of some of the ones i missed. Hasbro did a good job on perceptor and the insecticons too.. got those at toys r us. i would love a hasbro prediking reissue. as much as i like the rockets to shoot, i really don't care all that much, though prime with the short smoke stacks is kinda lame.

I received my 2 Blasters today through Fedex.... Wish HTS would do something about how the pack and ship their items... I mean customers have been complaining about for years now... Here's some pics of mine... I was really scared when I saw the box and once again, there was lots of wasted space inside...

Thats how mine looked minus one blaster. though the box was in excellent shape. As to the shipping, i even wrote into thier customer service and called one time, they don't seem to care... how did the blaster box look ??

i can understand that. i like opening and playing with them but then putting them nicely back in the box. i don't apply the stickers and stuff. If i ever make enough to buy one and open the other then i will start that.. i can't help but have a sound wave blaster transformers the movie rematch

From the pictures you posted I can say that if my blaster comes like this I'm going to send HTS a email from hell.. We pay serious money for these items and they seem to not really give a flying F*** how they are shipped out..While you can say that if the box itself is damaged shame on the FEdex, ups etc etc but the lack of packaging is ridiculous...

All I got to say is that if yours is damaged and you want to return it, good luck..it took 3 months to get a new SDCC Soundwave last year for me ......

sorry for the rant..I'm just fed up with HTS's lack of dilligence on this matter,,,

Aaaahhhh, I'm MORE nervous now. I'm like you DT, a MISB collector. I want one to show up MINT! I bought 2 like you did, hoping one will come through OK. My buddy will get the other one!

I just got me shipping notice today so I should get mine by the weekend.

Is it just me or every other year HTS has at least one major issue with SDCC exclusives (Alt Nemesis Prime, Soundwave, etc...). I'll bet next year will be another major screwup.

Mine came in today.

Packed just like the ones shown.

Is the box perfect? No. One corner has a little bend.

Either way to get a reissue Blaster with cassettes I'll live with it.

I have my original with the box still too.

Box was stupid sized for just Blaster and the little paper they put in it though.

Still came thru unscathed

Between this and the 3 Deluxes in a box too small debacle, something tells me that Hasbro's distributors don't know how to package product.

Yeah definately I should be getting mine today. It says August 4th. But I also ordered 2 things for my sister (littlest pet shop hippo, and MY LITTLE PONY Decorate Your Own Pony) as well as Mighty Muggs Prowl. I ordered them the around 1:30pm a half hour after they released them and I just got an email saying that only the my little pony has shipped! They are the WORST people i have EVER dealt with.

CORRECTION. I JUST GOT MY BLASTER! So my rage has calmed down quite a bit But still they are still the worst and I am going to call them up after I get everything and they will get hell. Also NEVER using them AGAIN. I am HOPING to get prowl by the end of August.

I like the way the red box looks.

Anyone know if there are any major differences between this Blaster and the TFC-Blaster, aside from the supplied cassetes that is?

I assume it isn't a repaint of the Twincast mould?

Cool! mine will be here this friday and plus i have my original G1 version as well and plenty of the encore cassettes too.

I got mine today with a bonus - there's a second Eject loose bouncing around in the box. Anyone else get one like this?

GAHH LUCKY!! I got mine this morning with no extra eject. But mine did come in quite good condition considering it came from HTS.

Got my G1 Series Universe Blaster today. Everything is in great shape, even the box, but there is ONE small quality control issue. I can't get that black grip on the right half of his boombox handle to slide at all. That thing is stuck in place like you wouldn't believe. Anyone know how to safely work that thing loose? I don't want to damage it.

got mine in today and his box wasnt in the best shape, but he was in awsome shape so im cool. the cassettes were in nice shape to. stickers are pre applied and eject even has a painted on autobot symbol, they even get thier cassette cases. too bad about no rewind but all and all a great set

received mine today...that enormous box for just one blaster is ridiculous. the outer box was beat up pretty good but that SINGLE piece of packing paper must be magic because Blaster was in excellent condition.


I finally got my childhood holy grail! hurray for me!
