FABs are good?

I picked up the FAB Prime for my little lad on Saturday and I was really surprised with the quality of the toy-from all the pics I have seen online I wasnt expecting it to look, feel or transform as well as it does.

It is really great to get a pleasent surprise.

I still probably wont pick up the set for myself, but they will definatly be gracing my sons collection.

P.s. i love the gimick that they are really really quick to transform, it is something i miss from G1, it is near impossible to transform modern toys while playing (with my son!)-My characters are rutinly blown to pieces because of my little lads dirty tactic of waiting until i begin a complicated transformation before attacking!-

Anywho, great little toys, dead impressed!

Thanks for the post! I was debating on wether or not to pick up starscream and brawl and talked myself out of them.

I'll probably pick them up now.

I have Starscream and Brawl in FAB style, and they are fun. Doubt I'll buy more of them though, because they are ment for younger children it seems, but I like the two I have.

My opinion is not yet fully formed, I bought him last night and then started messing with him at 11 pm after a few beers and the haunting thought of work this morning, but after 7 or 8 minutes of goofing around with him, I'd say he is quite good. The arms are lacking in posability, but the FABs seem to lack that in general. His missles are the pull back to launch variety, not spring loaded like most toys these days. But he looks like Deluxe Brawl, more so than FAB Starscream who looks kinda different, IMO. In tank mode you don't see any of the robot parts, like you can see SS's hands in jet mode. I'd recommend him, Brawl that is.

Except for Prime and Megatron, they're not very poseable but they're pretty fun to transform and they have cool gimmicks (punching / quick transform).

Very nice, I like the dual gun stance, very sexy.
Now where is my brawl?

My only shot of (with) Brawl so far...

He's kinda busy in robot mode but he's almost as good as Deluxe Brawl. I think I prefer unarticulated arms over arms that flop around.

Not poseable, not pretty, but kinda funny and cute in a very odd way.

Brawl looks better than the regular figure.
