New Toys - No problems

I figured since there are so many threads of QC issues, how about we have a thread where there is just a shout out of toys that worked, did what they were supposed to and you think they are cool.

I have the Real Gear Speed Dial 800 and FAB Starscream. They're pretty good for me. What worked for you?

No QC issues in here please. Lets hear about the good things.

I must say that I really like the one eyed Swindle head. Barracade is very cool. So, no QC complaints allowed in here, but even in light of them I am enjoying the movie figures I have so far.

I just want to bring to light the good things with these toys. I am sure there are good experiances out there and I am not trying to shut out anyone who had bad experiances.

No, no, your point is clear, and very welcome in my opinion. Sure, people will have problems with the new figures, but they really are pretty cool. I've had some problems with the ones' I've bought, but my enjoyment so far vastly outweighs my disappointment. I'm glad that you started a thread like this one, becuase there's a lot of movie toy goodness, and I think at the moment people are just preoccupied with the negatives.

I honestly don't know what all fuss is about. Other than the disappointing shoulders on Deluxe Brawl, I've had absolutely none of the issues that everyone is complaining about.

Complex transformations= Take your time. If you try to transform one like a rabid gorilla trying to break open a coconut, of course the stuff is going to break. Breath in, breath out...repeat. Walk away for a few minutes if you have to.

I've got Longview and Deluxe Jazz (as opposed to FAB), and have absolutely no problems with either. Longview is particulatly sturdy, and remarkably articulated.

You should buy a Blackout, BumbleBee, or Brawl as one of your next figures.

my funds are limited. Even though I want a blackout, I can only get certian figures.

Whatever happened to the good old days where you just pulled out the legs and pushed up the arms and stand the brick...I mean, robot, up and your done? Jeez.

I've got:
Voyager Prime (Robovision)
Ironhide
Blackout
Wreckage
Scorponok
Barricade
Bonecrusher
Brawl
Swindle

I was very pleased to see this thread, I feel bad for people who've had issues with breakage but honestly I really feel like the fandom is blowing a lot of these so-called "issues" out of proportion. I haven't had any problems with any of my figures and I think they're all kickass! This is my favorite line other than Alternators.

Ratchet is tons of fun, so fun in fact I've forgiven him for being that ugly green. I've picked Ironhide, Ratchet, Jazz, Barricade, Brawl & Wreckage, and while I like everybody, Ratchet is much better than I anticipated.

I haven't seen anybody else post a picture of it, but you can get a neat gunslinger pose with Wreckage if you just flip out the hip flaps (where the gun/blades hide in vehicle mode). They are perfect holsters. Why he would need a gunslinger pose with the gun on his chest, I don't know...but it's there, and looks good.

Haven't had a shot at any of the Real Gears, but I've picked up almost the full line of Robot Heroes. It ended up being a spur of the moment purchase, but I love those little guys. I own some of the SW Galactic Heroes, and the TF's blow the SW guys away. So for anyone hating on the movie toys, or having aneurisms with QC, then go pick these guys up. They're 100% awesome.

that was awesomely put
i like them expect i think screamer's transformation looks incomplete.. (the little bars holding his arms) and my swindle seems to be looking for ants.
other than that really happy with robovision prime (my fav at the moment) and i think ratchet is the most solid figure

I feel like I'm missing a step with Starscream. It feels like his shoulders should connect to something but they don't. They aren't going anywhere and they're not loose or anything, but that step of the process feels slightly incomplete. Gotta say, movie Starscream really grew on me after all these months of screen shots and pictures of the toy prototypes and all.

Voyager Starcream is a work of engineering art.

They had better make a LEADER class version!!!!!!

I have Real Gear Speed Dial and Booster, Deluxe Barricade & Frenzy, Jazz, Brawl and Bonecrusher and RV Optimus so far. Oh, and Optimash. So far, no problems. Hopefully getting either Starscream or Megatron today. Waiting for the movie to come out before deciding on Ironhide & Ratchet.
Nothing but love so far!

I've done that, it's pretty awesome. 8) He's one badass 'Con, and his bio demonstrates that well.

Ratchet is probably the best figure of them all.

Besides from parts popping off accidentally, I've only had problems with Brawl having a HUGE stress mark on his arm.

My Barricade and Bonecrusher both work fine. My Bumblebee doesn't have any QC issues, either, but he's less important.

Bonecrusher hates QC complaints.

I am really happy with my new babies. Hopefully by next week I'll have the voyagers in my collection. My plan: get the deluxes that'll appear in the movie, then the voyagers, and finally the leaders. The thing is I'll have to find more shelf space for them! :)
