Along with the either galleries we've received today, Seibertron.com member kotoys has posted an extensive gallery of the as-yet unnamed Hunt for the Decepticons Voyager Ironhide repaint, previously reported here. This a repaint of Revenge of the Fallen NEST Global Alliance Recon Ironhide, who is an extensive retool of 2007's Movie Ironhide. You can see the full gallery here

I don't usually buy repaints, but like Banzaitron, I won't pass this one up.

For the love of God, just paint him red already! Do we really have to wait until the third movie to get that?

Maybe the guys who think up the repaints at Hasbro keep getting Ironhide confused with Kup or something. Ah well, I already have the first version of this guy, so unless the version of him they make for the 2011 movie is vastly different then I don't think I'll be getting another.

What will suck is that when they actually do make him red, it will be the crappy orangy or pinkish red.

Ooh, I like it! The welded-on steel panels on the doors and the window cover on the rear window are nice touches. Reminds me of Scout Scattershot. The only Movie Ironhide I have so far is the original 2007 Movie one, so I might have to get this one!

If it were red I probably would have bought it. But since it is just another muddy-colored repaint of a mold I already have this one is a pass.

What will it take for Hasbro to give us a friggin' red repaint already! And not just a measely legends sized one...do it with the deluxe or voyager already! *shakefist* If they can do 50 billion repaints of Bumblebee, G1 style Jazz and Starscream, that Rescue Ratchet repaint...they can spare some red paint to make a red Ironhide repaint Come on, Hasbro!!

Technically there IS a red repaint alrady, it's just a FAB. Still though, once we get a voyager red Ironhide how many people do you think will be complaining that there's no yellow stripe?

That being said, I think I might be all about this. Don't care about the figure, but $20 for a full set of weapons for my other figures? I can do this.

don't care what the package will eventually say, that's movieverse kup to me. and i will 100% buy it.

I'd only buy it if they made an orange repaint. Then I'd rename it to Hondo/Firecracker and use it as an M.A.S.K crossover.

What's with the friggin' turquoise? If it's not "allspark" turquoise, then it's ass brown... Or in the case of Kmart Starscream, it's BOTH! (Although that's kinda fitting to make it look ass for a fig only sold at Kmart.) Oh well, this was a pass anyhow, but I was considering it had it had a black head and such to switch with the brown parts on the black one that I removed the stripes from...and to swap out the weapons had they not had turquoise on them.

It's been over three years. Voyager didn't see it in a single one of its paintjobs, there was a FAB brick that essentially only had red dressing, they make a Deluxe figure with standard movie black, and now repaint it with this seemingly saner version of the Offroad colors.

All I want is red. The same color scheme that was unlockable in the first movie's game. Ironhide's the only one not to get his proper G1 color tribute.

I just don't understand.

This is a Voyager not the Deluxe.

The Deluxe so far has only been released in its original Black.

Well, my mistake then. Either way, "All the more reason".

I'm definitely feeling a Kup vibe from this big guy!

Just shave off the triangular top of his head, paint it in the same aqua blue as the rest of his body, and give him a little more yellow and he IS Kup!

I may or may not pick it up. I already have the Premium, Recon, and 07 Offroad versions (I love the mold), so I don't need it. I do like it though, and I can't rule out the purchase if I notice it in the store.

I have to add that I have seen a few red repaints of this mold, and I am not a fan. I will not buy this figure in red if it is released. I really don't think it looks good. I also hope Ironhide doesn't become red in the next movie.

That hasn't stopped them from putting out the mold with raunchy brown or turquoise plastic or putting lightning bolts/zebra stripes on him, or the first ROTF version with the NEST logo, or the off-road versions that have no significance whatsoever. None of these really look good or, if they're not hideous, they make no sense. A red version would at least make sense...and look better than a lot of their other choices.

*PS...did a quick search, this looks pretty dang good to me, actually. IMO, far better than any of the other repaints and probably just as good as the all black:
