New to the forum, and I'm not sure if this thread has been done yet, but how much do you guys (on average) spend per month (or year, if it's easier) on TFs?

I've acquired a couple G1 reissues and already spent a couple hundred of dollars...

Too damn much!

Depending on my rather random Freelancer's income, anywhere from $0 to $200 or more. The latter is usually at the start of a line, or when the local import shop gets something awesome.

I have a very strict limit of $150 per month, otherwise I'd be in debt up to my ass. This limit includes online stuff, but with preorders being shuffled around, canceled and renewed, delayed etc etc I've been having to go as high as $200 - 300 on some months. Oof, September is going to be painful...

I try to keep it under $100, but it's tough...

Depends on what's being released. I've shelled out for the FP Bruticus upgrade and Warbot Defender so this month is an expensive one. I'm only buying new releases as I've got all of the older stuff I really want. I suppose the final answer is less than 100 per month on average.

I spend around 150 dollar per month, but it doesn't mean i spend 150 per month, i am only a g1 collector and some month i spend nothing and other i go way out. but it is an average 150 per month.

Did somebody already say "too damn much"?

My purchasing habits are really sporadic. I'll go for months without buying more than a couple Legends or Scouts, and then drop $500 on a bunch of exclusives, multi-packs, and any rarities from older lines that I find at my local hobby shop (they get G1, Beast Wars, RiD, etc.). Lately, though, I've been jobless, and I'm a full-time college student, so basically I haven't bought anything but Scouts. It still feeds that hunger for new figures, but doesn't break my bank at this point. As soon as I get a new job, though, I'll probably end up spending anywhere from $100-200 monthly. I collect books and video games too though, and that usually takes precedence over figures I know I'll be able to grab on Ebay later on.

Would probably be more cost effective if you flipped that theory around. Games and books tend to go down in price in time, whereas figs usually go up.

Not much, as much as I like TransFormers, I don't have money to buy them often.
Should change next summer if I'm able to get a job, figured juggling a job and school might be hard....

Way, Way too much...

Specifically though... anywhere between $50 and $150+ a month.
