Going to Taiwan in the Fall

I'm planning a trip to Taiwan in October, pretty much seeing the sights & culture. Of course, I keep thinking about possible toys in the back of my mind.
I don't know what the toy market is like in Taiwan. Does Takara release toys in Taiwan the same time as Japan or something?
Should I be on the look out for anything cool in October? Like that Predaking set?

It's just like HK too! Tons of anime related toys, not just TFs.

Cool a avid world traveler like myself, i know next year im going to Malaysia to see my in-laws for 4 weeks and plus scout around for new stuff, whatever might be out at that time..
Just FYI, ive been to Taiwan and the air quality is NOT the greatest, if this is your first time going.

Taking off this Saturday.
Any last minute Transformers recommendations? Any Asian releases that are worth seeking out?
