Amazon Japan has opened the pre-order page and revealed the Takara version of Battle Blades Optimus Prime (Voyager Class).
This is similar to Hasbro Version of HFTD Battle Blades Optimus Prime http://www.seibertron.com/transformers/ ... rime/2100/, however the battle blades are replace with battle hooks.

That's pretty cool. It looks to be the same figure other than the weapons. I wonder if that means that Hasbro will eventually bring over this guy repainted since that's what they've been doing recently with their repaints.

I wonder what happened to the old Voyager Optimus that came with Jetfire's corpse. Hopefully it'll see release (or better yet an updated version with this Optimus as the OP).

I wonder if hasbro or any of the other parties will ever do a power up version of this guy? Id like to see a voyager jet fire.

I do like this Prime better with the battle hooks, than with the blades and since this is from Takara, im sure the paint will have some shininess to it...
