I would like to know this as well. It looks like a great figure, but if that's the only pose it can make, then forget it.

Looks just like from the show. It needs more detail, but it still the best looking PVC "Transformer" I have ever seen.
Now when will they release Galvatron?

I was never sure, but what copyright was infringed upon to loose the name "Hot Rod"?

I wish he was articulated, but he's just a statue, very nice statue, but not articulated.. I like the base, but the cost is too much for just buying a base..I'll pass..

I've, finally but surely, loaded tons of pics on my site including a 360 degree slide show of the figure and also scale and size comparisons with related figures.
I'm particularly fond of the last part of the article where Metalverse meets Metalforce *hint hint*
It's here

Looks nice, but if he isn't articulated then I'm not interested. He's got a nice box art though.

Hmmm... I'm not quite understanding the lack of interest in this figure because of articulation. I'd think that most G1 oriented fans would jump at the chance to get this.
The MV Hot Rod is just a little 'worse' than most G1 figures considering the fact that a majority of G1 toys are as articulate as a block of wood.
There is a really nice review of it here (Post #06 by STL):
http://otca.invisionzone.com/index.php? ... metalverseI'm still completely blown away by this figure (as is STL), but that's just me (or us)... heh
