Like many of you I've been holding off on shipping my POL at BBTS until the new FansProject Crossfire sets arrive. With the delays though my POL has grown out of control. With the arrival of the Seacons today my POL is approaching 1K. I've got two each of the Crossfire sets pre-ordered, so provided nothing else I've got pre-ordered shows up before they do my POL will be at $1200.00 when I have it shipped. Which will be my most expensive POL to date. What's your priciest POL?

I'm doing the same - waiting on a POL of about $300 or so right now.

My highest was in the $600 range about a month ago. If I was more patient I'd be right up there with you.

What else do you have on pre-order to rack up such a bill?

I've kept every receipt from every Transformer I've purchased in retail stores and one day when I'm super mega bored, I may add them up... There's no telling how much I have invested in these things LOL

I added my order history (cut n pasted into excel). About $5840 since Nov of 2005. I thought it would be more. Of course, ebay, Botcon and current in-store releases are about 3x that so I estimate spending about $20k on transformers over the past 4-5 years.

You guys are epic. I think my most expensive one was $363.97. But I live in Canada and I try to keep them under $300 to avoid huge duties. This next one will be pretty big because I have the Crossfire sets on order for both me and a friend.

Quick question for you all who answered how much they spend on toys/collectibles: any of you married or have a g/f?

I'm married, my wife doesn't mind. If fact she's encouraged some of my more expensive purchases.

Current POL is my biggest, $350.72. wife and 2 kids. She's not happy about it, but she's SOL about my POL!!

Mine have been in $300-$400 range usually, but this one will probably be up there, unless I ship before Unicron and Primus.

Also, just an FYI to everyone, but remember you can email them and add signature confirmation for $2.75-$3.00. Much safer. For boxes with that much cash value, it's worth it for the extra hassle of being home.

SOL about your POL.

I don't buy much outside of what's been in US stores past 3 years. I have few Takaras. almost all Movie, animated, crossover marvel, some universe and masterpieces. Still around...4000give or take a grand. You guys must have AMAZING COLLECTIONS!

That's every order I've received from BBTS. Total=$10, 244.17. I've been using them for 37 months. Monthly average=$276.86.

They should give me a rewards card or something! Also I guess my current POL isn't my most expensive. Forgot about that $1400.00 monster a few months back. They got in some Japanese G1 and had it on sale, couldn't resist.

I should add that I've onlly had 5 or 6 POLs to date. XD Also my girlfriend complains sometimes when I bring home new figures, but she's generally supportive. Even buys me MPs for Christmas.

Yep. Married 12 years, three kids. I completed graduate school, have a career and work for my money and am generally able to afford what I want. I have two rooms dedicated to collectibles... one is strictly a LEGO building room and the other for TFs and other stuff.

It pays to go to skool.

My most recent monster is from robotkingdom. I think it is $1039 and some odd cents.

Catching up after saving for house and getting it and the little guy being born, both of which happened within 1 week in March. (makes the TF's look cheap by comparison trust me)

Only reason its that stupid sized is I put it all off for so long because of that and robotkingdom was the only one with most of it in stock anymore so I treated myself and then lost my job......................(even with shipping saved a good amount)

Bright side is I landed a new job and am starting this week, so I feel a hell of a lot better about it now

I'm not married but I have a wonderful Girlfriend who supports my obsessive transformers habit..Only as long as I go with her to stupid stores in the mall and spend a few hours on the weekend going to look at "girl stuff".. IMO it's a small price to pay to enjoy my Transformers!

I havent been using BBTS that much, I mostly stick with retail but I'm slowly racking up the total..All of my orders tally up to $859.88 and thats since last october..This upcoming year is gonna be exspensive!

Wow...all of a sudden, I don't feel so irresponsible spending $50 a month on TFs...

before they changed the system, which now forces POL orders into shipping after a few months, it wasnt irregular for me to have a few grand in my POL, I would ship things out every 10 months or so.
