If Alternators does continue after the movie...

Do you think that Hasbro will use the characters and Alt Modes from the movie as figures, but instead of Alt. sized "Bayformers" they come out in the traditional G1 design style like the rest of the Alternators?

Actually, what would be a really cool idea for the Alts to get restarted would be to take the licensed movie vehicles, and work out G1-style designs with them. It would be great to have Ratchet and Ironhide with G1 stylings in their new alts. Bumblebee from the '08 Camaro would be nice, though it would be interesting to see if they could pull off Movie Bee in both modes, too.
And hey, Hasbro could even do a repaint. Just take the Mustang mold(or maybe even the Acura mold), give it a remolded head, and you could pretend it's G1 Barricade.
It's hard to say for sure what's going to happen when the movie hits, and what products lines might come back. A Christmas relaunch of the Alternators, maybe with a "Best Of" style line-up with one or two molds, might not be a bad idea, especially since there are not only older G1 fans getting back into things thanks to the movie, but car fans who are enjoying it, too.
