Hey all,
I joined this board to try to sell some transformers I have been trying to list on CL, with little success. Any ways, Do you think its worth trying to sell them on here? The following is what I am trying to sell. Also I have TONS of G1 toys that have been played with, I alsoi have most of all the original boxes w/o the foam inserts. Do you think those would sell, and for how much. Well thank you for your time, and any help is appreciated.

While you can certainly sell them, don;t expect to get much over the standard retail price for them. As they are still fairly easy to acquire.

20 to 22 for voyagers.

G1 figures are a different ball game. If they are in good condition, and have their accessories they could fetch a pretty penny.

Thanks for the help. what do you think about the G1 boxes? any chance in getting some money for those? Thanks

If the boxes are separate... don't count too much on it. Maybe an oddball who likes to collect packaging on their own will pay good money, then again, he's an oddball. Sell the packaging with the toys.

thanks rabbit, I will try to get these together and listed, is there any certain way to list them on here, do I have to have a certain number of posts or anything

I won't say oddball. In my G1 collecting phase many collectors would buy boxes separately to make their toy seem complete like they had it in a box for years or something. Most of them would do it so the resale value of the toys increase. Most of the TF sellers at the flea market (have done) do this from time to time.

He may not get a lot of money for the box, but he would get some money...but I agree he should sell the toy with the box.

I have to agree, sell the g1 figures with their boxes together.

While you can sell the boxes alone, and the figures without boxes, you'll get more money if a figure has its own box, than selling them separately.
