Their policy is to replace the item with something of equal value. You won't get a Scalpel for a Scalpel. You need to return it to the shop.

I doubt Rite Aid would replace it, especially since it's open.

Maybe, not sure. They didn't have anymore Scalpels anyway.

the trick is making it easier to give you the replacement than not.
which often means you have to act like an asshole.

Even if they had more, the replacement would most certainly be broken as well. I really like the mold but have attempted to get it three times and all three it was broken as soon as it was taken off the card. Very frustrating.

What was broken on it?

My Scalpel was just fine when my GF picked him up for me.

The legs / ball joints. Some, if not all, of them were just disintegrated. In package they looked okay, but once it was out it just fell apart. After the third one, I gave up. Very disappointing as I really liked the look of the mold.

That's a very common breaking point on early runs. I don't remember if it's been remedied in later runs or with the later short antennae variant.

That's what's broken on mine too.

I disagree i used to work in retail and when people acted like an "asshole" myself and other staff members went out of our way to make things difficult for that customer.
Best way is to calmly explain what happened and the staff will help you out.
start acting like a douche and they're going to treat you like one.
