Hi! I've been thinking bout' making my energon Bruticus Maximus figure a little more G1 accurate so when I get the Fansproject Bruticus upgrade kit. I'm trying to replace barricade's head with RID Mega-Octane's head, but i can't get barricade's head off and Mega-Octane's head has a different type of neck joint. please help me! thanks in advance.

You do realize the Fans Project Update to Bruticus already comes with a more G1 looking head for him.

I believe Munitioner has the head.

I believe he's wanting to replace Onslaught/Barricade's head not Bruticus's. I'm kind of surprised FansProject didn't go make a new more G1ish head for Onslaught/Barricade.

If you got it to work, you should post some pics. I would be interested in doing something like that if it looks good.

Ahh, you may be right. Either way, the FP sets are awesome. And with all the accessories included a new head for Onlsaught is hardly necessary. Its not like you are going to see much of their individual modes anyway.

The head is posted on a rivet so getting it off for the normal consumer buying the Crossfire set would've been impossible. FP did the smart thing in passing on a replacement head for Barricade.

I've only ever had success removing a riveted head by completely destroying it. Only try it if you have a spare or two.

Ah, I see. That probably explains why they didn't do it.
