So yeah...title says it all...
My favorite is probably
Armada Supercon-class Optimus Prime. That thing is awesome I have a big collection, but I probably don't own a lot of what you guys are gonna be talking about.

By the way, third party products count.

I'd say R.I.D. Prime. Is my favorite. With Cyb Skorponok in close second.

I've been a sucker for the Henkei Seekers. I think they look great in robot-mode and the Coneheads have true coneheads.

If we're talking from '95 and up, then it was when Transmetals first came out for Beast Wars, I was hooked on the designs like crazy. I played with toys again. I hadn't done so since the '80s.

Hmmm, that's a tough one... There are several I like for many different reasons... but my ultimate favorite would have to be Alternators Grimlock. I love Mustangs, and despite the character perhaps not being the 'perfect fit' for this mold, I really like G1 Grim's character and he looks really great on display in both modes.

Masterpiece Skywarp, Grimlock - best representation of their respective characters.

Out of curiosity...
WHY "1995 on"? Why not 1990 on? 2000 on? 2005 on?

RiD Ultra Magnus. he was my first large-scale Transformer, and my first RiD toy period.
He's even more awesome since I've recently acquired RiD Optimus and I can now form Omega Prime.

Its a toss up between my Masterpiece Starscream and the ROTF Leader Class Starscream for me. I couldn't choose between the two.

RID Ultra Magnus. Would love to see him and Optimus repainted as Motormaster and Nemesis Prime respectively and they combine to form Menasor.
Close second would be Armada Thundercracker.

With Beast Wars? Why not Generation 2 or even Generation 1?

Pre-1995 had some great toys.
G1 Scorponok
G1 Metroplex
Soundwave
Shockwave
Ultra Magnus
Galvatron
Dinobots
Most of the Diaclones, especially Prowl
G2 Laser Rods
Beast Wars gave us alien, Baymovie faces. G2 already gave us articulation. Don't get me wrong, I love Beast Wars but G1/2 deserve to be respected.

Car Robots Black Convoy. It's the better version of RiD Scourge and one of the best Prime molds ever and in (what was then anyway) never before seen colors. The onslaught of Nemesis repaints since still can't take away frmo his awesomeness.
P.S.: Of course MP-01 Convoy is the best TF ever so even considering him wouldn't be far to the rest of the franchise!

This sounds like a statement made by a youngster. Reminds me of a conversation I overheard at the 2007 movie. Two kids were commenting how Transformers sucked now since they decided to make the transformers into cars and things instead of animals. The second time I saw the movie another kid asked why they put beast wars in the movie when he saw ravage on screen.

Hnnnn...favourite TF toy post 95, and why?
Even though he's not out yet, MP Rodimus Prime will be my most favourite TF toy yet. For me, TF: the Movie was the absolute peak of the story of Transformers, and with the notable exception of Beast Wars, it's been largely downhill since. Nothing else in my opinion has come close to recapturing the magic.
I instantly loved Hot Rod, and he had a great version of the classic coming-of-age story. His becoming Rodimus Prime at the end and then his overpowering and casting Galvatron out into space...that was true mythology at it's best. That's where the story ends imo, too because the character of Rodimus was done an immense disservice by Hasbro and the series writers in that final tv season.
Any how, the fact that we have a toy that is both my most favourite characters in one...it's just phenomenal to me. A total dream come true, baby!

I didn't say that because I disrespect my G's. No way. I said it because I knew that if I said "ever" instead of "from 1995 onward," everyone would say G1 Optimus Prime.
Okay, that's exaggeration, but you know what I mean. And I also said it because, having not been alive during the G1 era, I look at TFs from an objective point of view. If they sold some of the 1980s toys today, or even in 1995, they would look kind of lame. I'm not saying they're bad. I'm just saying most of them belong in a museum.
And just to defend myself: I feel the same about all the inarticulate toys that came out in the Unicron Trilogy. Nope, no Tidal Wave for me.

He's basically saying "anything but G1."
And mine has to be a tie between Optimus Primal and Scourge from R.i.D. With OP, love the character, the toy is damn accurate, and it is a lot of fun. Scourge is pretty much the same size, and is very articulated. I don't even use his tanker trailer, even when I display him in truck mode.
