Trying to make a Classics Breast Force. Can anyone help with Drillhorn

So I've managed to repurpose several modern figures into a Neo-G1 version of the Breast Force. But for the life of me I can't think of any figure that could even act as a standin for Drillhorn. Any out-of-the-box thinking would be appreciated.

So Far I have
Botcon Deathsaurus as himself
Botcon Leozack as himself
2007 Movie Reverb as Deathcobra
KO Pink Seeker as Gaihawk
HTFD Crankstart as Jaruga
PCC Darkstream as Hellbat
and ROTF Blast Off as Killbison

But that leaves me with one member short, I still need something for Drillhorn.

Anyone got any good ideas?

drill tanks do seem to be rare, so i'm gonna suggest Sledge as a stand-in.

Thought of that, but the more I thought of it the more I think that I'd prefer Drillhorn's colours over Drillhorn's drill.

HFTD Brimstone maybe? Breacher? I haven't seen the latter in person, so I can't comment on the shade of blue.

Now Breacher is a good idea. Maybe they'll make a Decepticon variation that would work well...

If you like, look in chinese toy stores for cheap construction/deconstruction toys with drills.
I haven't looked at photos to refresh my memory of drillhorn,so I'm speaking blind, but if you saw off the TF drill that you don't want about 2mm above its' base it'll give you a good platform to superglue the new drill piece to.Of course you can most likely remove the drill altogether with a screwdriver-depends on the toy design.

Be patient as chinese plastics come in a plethora of qualities and don't always glue immediately to other plastics. You can 'mortar' them together, if problematic, by sprinkling shavings of more plastic or wood into the glue (must be as close to powder size as possible or will tilt and offset the final alignment and ruin your work) or else 'Pin' the two bits together; For plastic-to-plastic I recommend wood; Toothpicks (aka Cocktail sticks) are my prefferred tool for little areas, and souvlaki sticks for big areas. The superglue will permeate the wood and re-enforce its' rigidity.Very many people use tiny metal or brass rods.

Tips: Wash the model and every hand tool you'll use before each project in as hot, soapy water as possible and rinse away all soap; This will remove sebum ('palm-sweat') from the model and your tools. After that, work in a ventilated area with a drink nearby, take plenty of breaks, tell folks not to interrupt for a while and STOP EVERY TIME your palms start to sweat again and wash your hands.Otherwise you will get sebum all over everything again which will attract the superglue vapors and ruin your effort, then cause an oily film that will hamper paint from bonding in the first few passes.Let superglue dry outdoors or on an OPEN window sill whenever you can.

Hope that helps.

Personally, I think if you could find some drill that you could attach to one of the other versions of the Blast Off mold like Blight, Kickback or Landquake.

You could also use one of the Energon Starscream repaints for Hellbat since the Botcon comic portrayed him using that mold.

Transmetal Rhinox: http://www.tfu.info/1998/Maximal/Rhinox/rhinox.htm

My reasoning? Well for one thing, Drillhorn is obviously inspired by a Rhino. The color scheme isn't perfect, but it works. The overall look of the figure is big and muscular, and since he's a Transmetal, he won't look too out of place with the other guys. Finally, his vehicle mode is treaded, and while not a drill, it does have a horn, and is a suitable substitute for a drill tank.
