1. Hot Rod's vehicle mode trumps Rodimus Prime's vehicle mode.

2. Hot Rod's vehicle mode's "ass" becomes Rodimus Prime's "grill"

3. To make Rod Rod's ass become Rodimus' grill, there's a snap on piece of plastic (a plastic shell) that will clip onto Rod Rod's ass to give the headlights, flip open windscreen and the rest of the Rodimus' basic overall vehicle body shape. It's cheap but effective. One car, turned around with a snap on gimmick.

As long as there's no 4-assed monkey involved --you're probably right. :P

Hello, do you now if this figure will be released in more than two versions(the japanese by "Takara Tomy" and Hasbro), or if this figure will be released in HK(Hong Kong) version??...

I mean, the "MPM-02 Movie Masterpiece Bumblebee" will be released in three versions :
The Japan release will be painted in yellow to match the movie character.
The Hong Kong release will be painted in a metallic yellow.
The North America release will be unpainted, but the outer parts are molded in yellow.

Do you know which stores sell this figure in HK(if this version exists??...); if this version exists, is it cheaper than the japanese version??, do you know the price??...

I want to be sure to get the japanese version, which stores sell it??; the price for the japanese version is 200 US + shipping right??...

Thanks for answer... 8)

Right now, there is only one version slated, which is being produced by Takara; and that would be the "Japanese verson". Most Transformers online retailers have him available for pre-order.

With all of that being said, it is very possible that Hasbro will release some form of this figure in the U.S. How it might differ or when it might be released are anybody's guess right now.

He is right, that's is why we was presented with Rodimus Prime first and Hot Rod second. If it ws the other way round, the conversion would be seen for what it is. It wa a publicity stunt to makes us think that it was more lever thna what it is. I've said it before. This could of been done in away that would logicaaly and functionaly work, but for some reason they have a bee in there bonnet about the vehicles beeing a 100% faithfull rendition, so to have Rodimus front cab have Hot rod's proportions was a No No for Takara. All this is, is a plastic version of Magnus's paper trailer. Yeah it's plastic but it's not functional.
Alot of people are happy with this, but if they clipped a plastic shell of optimus prime, with hot rod s wheels showing, would you be happy and say, wow I can't beleive they pulled of hot rod to optimus prime.
