Takara's newest Transformers Movie line 'Autobot Alliance' will be kick started by Voyager Optimus Prime. However unlike the placeholder photo of the figure, this version of Optimus Prime is a bit different from it's Hasbro predecessor. Instead of blades, the Optimus wields battle hooks. Another notable difference is the Matrix of Leadership being painted in a more shiny metallic. Check out the pictures below, courtesy of Transformers insider KOToys.

The funky looking brown colors from the Hasbro version seem to be gone as well. Glad I pre-ordered this at HLJ (in their "Animated" section...)

I hate those stupid hooks. They were not in the movie. Who from Hasbro/Takara thought they would look "cool" ??? You are sadly mistaken...

They were in the movie if you saw it :)
And I dislike them as well, the other one is probably going to get an awesome
paintdeco from Takara, hope they'll also release grey voyager ROTF Megatron.

Even with the removal of the brown/gold plastic, I'm still not impressed by this mold. It needs more paint detail, or something. Or maybe I'm just comparing it too much to the Leader.

HLJ is Hobby Link Japan, I always import directly from the source to save money...
The webaddress is http://www.hlj.com.

The hooks were in the movie, and used by Prime to rip open the head of ... um, the guy that uses the same CGI-model as Blackout :)

How much does shipping from HLJ cost? Their prices are pretty attractive.

For a Voyager figure such as this it would be between 10 and 12 dollars if you use SAL (surface air lift). It's comparable to regular airmail and takes about two-three weeks to arrive.

I agree ! I like the Voyager size, because it allows me to pose Prime in a better scale together the Constructicons and Devastator.

But I miss so much the silver painting and chromed parts from my Leader Buster Prime ...

Maybe he will repainted in silver for the TF3 toy-line, as it will match much better with the trailer.
