i was thinking lately,with all the 3rd party these days,does any1 ever thought of making a custom fusion cannon for MP megs??perhaps a smaller n lighter one, to make it better in proportion(and stability,of course)???

I actually like the existing one. It's the proper scale for alt mode, and hey, it's MEGATRON, he's GOTTA have a BFG!

I own the kit. It's a necessary addition to the Masterpiece, I'd say. I had Megatron with and without the kit, and I have to say he feels very much incomplete without it.

You'd be amazed at how much of a change there is once you've put it on him. Heavy though. Really. Heavy.

The fusion cannon is heavy, or the metal leg parts are heavy?

The leg parts are heavy, but that's the point. They add weight to his lower body for more balance and stability. It's a really nice set.

For the smaller fusion canon, if Megatron had a choice of weapon, would he go big or small? Megatron needs to strike fear into the hearts of his foes, seeing that big ass gun pointed at you means you are about to die, just ask Ironhide. As for the upgrade kit, buy it. Buy it now. I have two MP Megatron's, one is in robot mode and the other is mounted on my wall in gun mode with the upgrade attached. It looks amazing.

That's what I thought. I really ought to pick it up soon, I always meant too but still haven't gotten around to it.
