I was just thinking about how fragil some transformer toys are after reading some of the problem people have had with alternators,Titanium and movie toys. So I thought I would ask for people transformer toy death stories. You can guess what I mean by death.

lol, that is one of the funniest things I've read today.
I actually sorta did that to my X-men Iceman action figure, I put him in the freezer overnight and he pretty much fell apart afterward.

I killed Blaster with a compound bow. He was a tough bastard too...the first arrow glanced off the shoulder. I had to peg him through the cassette-deck door to get a killing wound. But I decided to be sure, so I dropped a cinder block on him.

Granted, that was 20 years ago (yes folks, 20).

I felt so bad about it I never broke another toy intentionally.
But it was Blaster, so in my defense, he probably had it coming.

Well, I had the original Jetfire, which my little brother broke. A few months later, I got another transformer (Jazz, I think), which he broke again. A year later, I got another Jetfire and didn't want to let my brother play with it. My mom ordered me to lend it to him but I protested, saying that he already broke two of my toys. She ordered me to lend it to him anyway so I threw it at him, which caused it to break at the arms and back.
This was 15 years ago.

My mum had some family friend around (you know the ones. You don't know them or their kids but youre forced to sit about and make idle conversation for the sake of being polite). I'd just come home from school to find their kids had located all of my toys (when they were just toys and not a 'collection'). Among them was my much favoured TM Megatron figure.

After they left I decided I'd examine the damage, and, hardly to my surprise, I found they'd entirely removed Megatron's upper body and hidden it somewhere around the house. I've still not found it after about 6 years.

But then there's my RM G1 Convoy. I was just transforming it and the seemingly impossible happened: The small metal rod that allows his wasite to swivel snapped. The METAL ROD snapped! Eeesh! So now he's in my room, his torso balancing on a bit of blu-tack used to keep the two halves together.

Xmas of 87 I got Wheelie as a xmas gift

At that point in time I hated the direction the Transformers went into

Imagine the first two sesons of the transformers was Prime/Megatron and the origional Transformers

Then after the movie they became what I called spaceship transformers and hated them as much as I hated the vehicle Voltron

I took Wheelie into our basement and smashed the hell out of it with a hammer until I broke every peice

Haven't had any break on me yet, I'm usually very careful with my toys even when I was a kid. Although my entire childhood Transformers collection was stolen, does that count as deaths or just TF-napping? :-?

I don't know if this counts as a "death" or he as a Transformer, but a long time ago my Voltron disapeared. To this day I have no idea what happened to him. He was my doll baby. My Aunt made for him a pink blanket and a pink pillow, and I would make him a bed to sleep in with them in a open- up dollhouse. I carried him everywhere. I miss my "baby." I think disappearing is worse then "death" in a way, because with "death," at least you get to know what happened.

Over a 20 year period, my original Powermaster Prime went through hell. Broken smokestacks, the infamous broken trailer peg, my little brother ripping off the stickers with his teeth, a fall from 20 feet, a dog getting a hold of him, and finally, being submerged in water. Poor bastard survived all that up until the moment when my little cousin stole him along with my Spider-Man classics Spider-Man. Oh, and I just recently broke the peg on U. Depth Charge's weapon.

My worst transformers death was my Slingshot. He lost his arm, head, tail fin, and one wing to constant play.

My G1 Ironhide is in a zip lock baggy in about 30 pieces. I do not know what my brother had done to it...I think maybe a hammer. Anyways that has to be one of the worst deaths to any of my transformers.

The only transformers deaths ive had happen was with all three , yeah i said three of em TM megatrons and the ironic thing is that all three broke the same way the upper body and lower body decided they wernt whole anymore and broke the first one my brother and nephew got a hold of, the second was my fualt i tried to tranform it for the umpteenth time that day and it snaped and the third was wierd as hell becuase i had it on a shelf for like a month and the torso just fell off.

Wow those are horable I have never had anything like that happen all have had is standered alternator problems where a door would come off during transformation but you are able to reattach it no problem.

I had G1 Prime out in the yard playing with the cab. I left him out there overnight and forgot about him being out there until the lawn mower chucked his pieces at the house... I just found his leg 18 years later under a cedar tree we cut down.

That happened to a white ninja action figure of mine. I was gutted, but not as much as black ninja was, he lost his brother that day.

None of my TFs have ever had irrepairable damadge, but they are big fans of shelf diveing. Good thing I have a soft carpet.

My poor, poor combiner limbs. The following 'bots are now headless (or pegless):
Swindle
Skydive
Sinnertwin
Rippersnapper
Streetwise (he got lucky headwise, but his peg still broke off)

I had two Kickbacks, and both lost their wings.
Soundwave lost his chest compartment.
Megatron's arm came off.
PM Prime's trailer peg broke off.
Dead End broke in half, as did Mirage.

I also have an MIA story: my mom bought me Hotspot during the summer before the movie, and then she got me the rest of the Protectobots for Christmas...and I had my first-ever complete combiner! But then First Aid disappeared, leaving Defensor without an arm (and later half of his chestplate). Thanks a lot First Aid, you pacifist bastard...you bailed out on the war, you coward. I hope the dog found you in the yard, or maybe you were snatched up by a bird to use as part of a nest.

What can I say?
A jealous friend jumped up and down on him until his armor and metal landing gear broke, his metal shoulder clips eventually broke, I also tried modifying his bazooka to shoot Shogun Warrior nissiles but ended up losing half of it before getting it screwed back together, I unsuccessfully carved the space inside his cockpit so he could fit a Zoids and or Diaclone pilot...
...one just stops giving a damn at that point. lol

Well, only two of mine have died. And one came back fro mthr dead. The first was G1 Swerve. Plain & simple, the dog was hungry. That's it. He is now missing his left foot, all four wheels & the top of his truck mode. Second was a death & then a rebirth. This has actually happened quite a few times. G1 Metroplex has jumped (And by jumped I mean he fell) off a 6'3 shelf 3 times. All three times he broke in half at the waist. Thank Prius for Krazy Glue. Fixed him all three times. So really only one Trasnformer has ever really died.
