2011 won't stop with Scout class figures, as we'll be getting more in the new year. The latest are Generations Scout Windcharger, and a repaint of HFTD Scout Brimstone. Windcharger features the signature Transformers 'rubsign', while Brimstone's repaint is a red and yellow chopper. Check out the image below!

And what is Brimstone? Las Vegas style?

Pass on the Brimstone repaint, but Windcharger's an instant buy. Though Soundwave was my very first TF back in the day, Windcharger was my firt Autobot TF. His design has come a long, satisfying way since then.

Hey, I like these, might pick up both. But the rubsign on Windcharger makes him look like he's in a gang with Lockdown or somethin! It should have been on top of his roof to be proper old school.

Awesome. CAN NOT WAIT for Windcharger. Definitely looking forward to Generations in 2011. Nice to know I'll have something to collect in the official lines again. These third party stuff is getting expensive.

I guess I will get Brimstone afterall, this repaint really doesn't look that good. Windcharger on the other hand looks great. Will definitely pick him up when I see him. I wonder if they'll make any more of the smaller bots from g1 into scouts. Brawn would probably look really good as a scout over his legends form.

I'm confused about having a scout class Windcharger. It's part of the Generations line but there are currently no other Scouts planned for the line, nor have there been any scouts under the "Classics" universe. Makes me wonder what other Scouts might be planned.

Windcharger is absolutely beautiful, perfect representation of his G1 self...even with a rub sign!

Looks like Brimstone has switched sides and I am not talking Autobot!

that Windcharger's a win for sure. I'm still undecided whether to use him or Hubcap for a Speedbreaker repaint.

More like WIN-charger!!!

Ugh, that was terrible. Anywho, 2011 is looking good, now if we can just get everything from Generations into the stores before the peg space is taken over by Movie 3, we will be in good shape!

A Scout-class figure may not be the largest or most complicated Transformer in the world, but they certainly know how to make a great-looking toy out of it. Windcharger is gorgeous.

If the Brimstone repaint is actually a little more purple and a little less pink than the picture shows, I'm getting a feel of Armada Sideways. But we already have a Sideways in the movie line, right?

Generations Sideways?

Although I like the Cykill idea. That was one of the first things I thought of repainting Brimstone into...

Windcharger's total win.

Brimstone should have been repainted into another Junkion to go with the upcoming Wreck-Gar

These bastards will be released in the HFTD scout line and will include more new scouts and a few repaints like Hubcap into Big Daddy, although they lost the name for it. On of the guys at the design panel said he had more to show us, but they had to trim some out. Personally, I'm chomping at the bit for a scout sized Warpath, Powerglide, NEW Bumblebee done right, Gears, Wheelie or Pipes.

But on topic I think the best thing about Windcharger besides having a great head sculpt, besides having a great bot and vehicle mode that pays crazy homage to the original G1 charager, the best thing is that he comes with his Electro-Magnet. Just the icing on the cake.

So pumped!

I was under the impression that Windcharger would be definitively released under the Generations line rather than the movie/HFTD line.

Windcharger is 100% intended for the Generations line, however Generations will be limited to Deluxe figures only. So figures like Windcharger, Grapple, and Lugnut are being put in the HFTD line as a way to please fans. So far it's working.

HFTD Lugnutz? I know there's a Voyager class Lugnut coming, so Hasbro might not want to us two similar names, but the paint job still says Lugnutz to me.

Either way, want both. :KREMZEEK:
