The Last Hurrah

In just a few days I'll be leaving Japan indefinitely (which is why I haven't been posting around here much, too much packing and such) and I'll be incredibly sad to both stop being the first to get my grubby mitts on Takara exclusives and to no longer be able to visit Akihabara, the mecca of nerd collecting.
However, time permitting, I hope to be able to visit Akihabara once more before I leave and it would be a tragedy if I returned without buying one final figure. Note: ONE final figure, and not too big as he or she may well end up being stuffed into my carry-on.
So if you were in my shoes, what would your final figure, your last hurrah be?

Wingblade Optimus Prime from Animated. It's the only thing out in Japan right now I'm tempted to get. Let me like vicariously through you!

SUPER DUPER 2000th POST!
Well, it was my last trip to Akihabara today, and it was a sad occasion. The Japan dream had to end somewhere, and on to real life.
As stated, I decided to pick up one last figure. I had previously seen Botcon Razorclaw for sale and had been considering getting him. Unfortunately he had already vanished. I also considered getting an $88 Fangry (or rather Wilder) but as much as I love Headmasters and the Masterforce anime his terrible, terrible beast mode with its unnaturally high wings and comedy pantomime mask was too big a turn off.
In the end, I got the Sons of Cybertron Henkei set. Admittedly the Optimus figure is a serious turd and I already have Henkei Rodimus but it seemed like an appropriate set to get for leaving Japan in 2010, and as a plus the figures are fancy but not too big.
Unfortunately this is a sad note for another reason. For the next month I will have only very weak internet access, unless I can steal some Wi-Fi and no spare funds so I'll be taking a sabbatical from both Seibertron and Transformers collecting I'll still be around, just...less.. Hopefully in November when I reach my final destination (San Fransisco) I'll have gotten a worthwhile job and regular internet access. Maybe I'll meet some of you. Maybe I'll even be able to make it to Botcon next year.
Until then, adios!

Oh, simple; find me a Henkei Prowl and Hound, and send them to me when you get back. I'll pay you for your touble of course!
