OK! So I just happily grabbed up Elita-1 at Wal-Mart today (along with sidearm sideswipe and hail storm). I was hoping there would be combining instructions inside or a link to them on the web.

but nothing!

does anybody know if they do combine? and if so...how?

I have a feeling the combination, if there ever was one, required three different molds. Since Elita-1 is a repaint, the planned combination isn't possible, so no instructions.

I've completely lost any interest I ever had in these combining. I don't even know if I'll pick up Elita-1 at this point to complete the trio.

It was rumored that Elita-1 had some slightly different sized peg or hole for connecting, but I haven't really been keeping up on this subject.

I hate to say it but I wish people would just give up on this. If you want to see what they were going to look like combined watch the special features on the ROTF blu ray disc. They show a cgi rendering of what they would have looked like. To be honest it looked totally whack, just a pile of motorcycles on top of each other. If I remember Bay said that tey scrapped the idea because of time, and we all know what a rushed mess ROTF was...

Im very suprised some of the more popular and well known customizers( Frenzy rumble, jin saotome, Sabrina Ng) haven't tried to do a custom for the trio...

I think it would be best if the words 'Elita-1' 'Arcee' 'Chromia' and 'Combining' were all banned from being used together.

I still think it is possible for them to combine in some way. It would just be really hard to figure out, expecially with the complexity of the movie figures. I may get all three just to figure this out.

They combine into a big waste of time and money. Hasbro at their most contemptuous. Honestly, take a load of old broken bits and mash them together in an angry fist and you'll get a result approximating the concept art. Subject must die...

They aren't really action figures though are they? They're weird abominations 'designed' to rip off the parents of baying kids. Combine them any way you want, what makes you happy is what counts. Check the three million other threads on this subject if you need inspiration.

3 action figures combining into a larger action figure is cool, but we're talking about 3 turds combining into a larger turd. It doesn't bring me any anger, personally, I just think it's funny people care so much about something that's so incredibly lame. Go grab any three figs and some tape...tape them together any way you want and it'll look no worse than the garbage these 3 figs form. There's actually probably about an 85% chance it looks better!

honestly, the only reason I posted this new thread is because I didn't take the time to look around for any other threads and actually hoped someone would be a little helpful xD I wasn't expecting the overwhelming amount of negative comments or remarks on here D= I'd just like to hold Hasbro accountable on their word of providing combining figures as they said they would, is all.

Hasbro never made promises, they merely said it would be logical to provide them should they release the intended Elita-1. Since they didn't (it's just a repaint)...

There was someone's guess based off the CGI art in one of the threads. It seemed pretty reasonable to me.

There are videos on YouTube, but I think all the combinations look like crap.
