Takara Tomy Transformers Website Update: September 2010

Takara Tomy has updated the Transformers website with the following new information or new release for the month of October 2010:

I should mention Clear Plastic figures don't fare well under stress. The plastic's too hard for its own good, and will snap or break far more easily.

I should mention Clear Plastic figures don't fare well under stress. The plastic's too hard for its own good, and will snap or break far more easily.


Well that's a downside, And may even explain why they don't ship to here because it would arrive mint in box, just in a thousand different pieces. Still, they could probably find a way to make it less tough. After all, we DID get that TFA stealth lockdown!

I mean that Clear Plastic is more prone to snapping because it's so hard: it takes more force to bend it than regular plastics, and excessive force will make it snap. Because it's clear, stress marks are far more noticeable. Because the figures sometimes rely on plastic bending (for tabs for instance) Clear Plastic is hardly used for complete figures by Hasbro.

- Animated Stealth Lockdown
- BotCon Mirage

No more.
