Thoughts on Generations Dirge?

Hi everyone. It's been awhile since I posted but I was excited to get Generations Dirge & Blurr in the mail today from BBTS, so I thought I'd check in.
I'm just wondering what your thoughts are on Dirge if you have it in-hand? I LOVE Generations Thrust, which has replaced my Henkei/Gentai Thrust because I prefer the deeper red with metallic sheen, more-accurate wing decos, etc... but I'm not completely sold on Gen Dirge.
I like that his forearms & hands are black, and definitely prefer his wing deco over Henkei/Gentai's. But I'm a little bummed that his cockpit isn't chromed to match Thrust (unless mine's just missing it), and I'm not sure I like the brighter candy blue. It's a similar bright blue (I think) to Botcon 07 Dirge. I guess I just picture Dirge in my mind as a more somber, darker or more grayish blue, to match his personality.
Too picky? Your thoughts?

Even with any issues that might not be perfect, I will be running out as fast as I can to grab Dirge. The fact that I will be able to pick up a Classics/Universe/Generations Dirge for $12 or less is awesome.

I'm sure if you compare henkei to Hasbro versions of Thrust and Dirge, most likely thing everybody will see is the color and the price!! and also quality as well. I feel Henkei does far better quality than Hasbro, but sometimes im sure everyone gets a good mold with tight joints and nice paint apps from Hasbro. Too sum it all up, at one time i was ready to plop down close to $200 for both Henkie Thrust and Dirge and now that i see Hasbro is producing and already acquired Thrust and now waiting on Dirge to hit the shelves. And you cant beat roughly $12.00 a piece either. If only we can talk Hasbro in to producing Thundercracker for the Genline and my seekers will be complete!!!

I think I would like to find one in a store
Along with Breacher, Straxus, Red Alert, WFC Megs and Soundwave, and of course Blurr.

I don't like that you can't fold back the wings on his lower legs in bot mode. Outside of that I really like him, and prefer his appearance in alt mode over my Botcon version.

Starscream is usually the only Seeker I get, but Dirge has grown on me so I'll get him whenever they start to show up.

Same here..... I hope Hasbro will produce a Thundercracker, and I would also like to see a Sunstorm too. I do have a few Henkies in-hand, but the price is not always up my alley, although I do love how the joints are tighter than Hasbro. Thundercracker is all I need to complete the seekers. Come on Hasbro, listen to the fans.....
