what paint do i use for repainting?

what kind of paint do i use for repainting? also what kind of brush can i use? im new to painting a fig, so any help counts! if it helps i want to repaint generations thrust's thigh black to replace generations dirge's thigh. thanks for the help! :BOT:

Any kind, but most folks like acrylics. Try Testors Model Masters or Tamiya. They're popular brands, and are fairly easy to work with.

We wary of Acrylics if you're going to keep the rest of the toy the same colours - they have a more matte appearance than plastic and it can be noticable - if you do one thigh, then do the other, even if it was already black. I haven't tried Matte Enamels yet, but I hear they are also pretty good.

For a brush, I suggest using a artificial fibre acrylic brush choose something that isn't too small. I suggest an artificial fibre because real fibres (like Sable) are a lot harder to take care of, and I wouldn't recommend it for a beginner, the arificial ones also have the advantage of being cheaper.
