I just thought it would be nice if we all said a bit about our first transformers.
I'm proud to say that mine was Armada red alert, in my opinion pretty much the best figure from the line, the only problem i find is he has a bit of kibble...

I believe mine was either G1 Pretender Roadgrabber or G1 Afterburner. Both of them came early on, I just can't remember which was first. I think I did have a Gobots Cy-Kill before that though.

G1 Windcharger. That little guy went everywhere with me. Can't wait to get his upcoming Generations figure!

I believe my first TF was G1 Blitzwing or Thundercracker can't be sure now.

R.I.D Prime and Magnus were the first TF's I bought when I started collecting again when I was in college.

Outback, though my brothers had Beachcomber, Swerve, Powerglide, Hub Cap and Pipes at that stage.

The following Christmas we got Galvatron, Cyclonus and Scourge. Those poor Mini-Autobots. Their first set of reinforcements were the Throttlebots. Thank Primus, Rodimus Prime turned up.

Remembered rushing up the stairs to buy a G1 Strafe.That was in 1989.Discovered the other Technobots few years later.gah

G1 Prowl. At the time, I thought it was the sharpest toy I or any of my friends had. Unfortunately I no longer have him. I just bought a Classics Prowl in honor of him. I am mainly a comic fan, and I never liked the character in there, but the toy was pretty cool, and the Classics version looks really neat. Can't wait to get it.

I have no idea, I've had Transformers for as long as I remember. I asked my mom what my first Transformer was and she said it was a red car. I have no idea what it was, it could have been a Gobot for all I know.

I can't say for sure, but I think it's G2 Optimus Prime. I was too young (or, for the first year or so, not born yet) for G1, so by the time I was old enough for Transformers toys, I was into the G2 years.

G1 Prowl, as well. I quickly became a fan of the Decepticons shortly after getting a few, but to this day Prowl has a place in my heart as he is the Autobot I have the most of.

I gotta say G1 Grimlock. He's the earliest one I can remember, although the bulk of the TFs I owned back then coincided with Season 2 and 3 of the cartoon. Aerialbots, Warpath, Beachcomber, Ultra Magnus, Rodimus Prime, etc., etc..

Think my first one was G1 Grimlock, also had swoop. The other notable ones I remember having were hardhead, chromedome, fireflight, and mailed in for reflector. Also traded a few silverhawks to a kid for ultra magnus.

I got G1 Megatron back in 1984, I think I was 11.

Christmas haul:
Wheeljack, Mirage, Ironhide, Ratchet, Jazz, Prowl, Smokescreen and maybe some minibots.

Ironically, as big a collector as I am I never had G1 Prime, Soundwave, Starscream or Megatron as a kid. Although my brother did have Megatron and a good friend had Prime and Soundwave.

We had some great times setting up Transformers battles. I think we spent 95% each building a base and 5% actually attacking, defending.

My firsts were G1 Optimus Prime and G1 Skywarp. Bought both at the same time at retail in 1984...Paid less than $20 for the pair. Good times! =)

Mine was G1 Hound and I still have him with all his accessories! Best. Christmas. Ever.

I think mine was G1 Snarl. My brother got Sludge. We played with those things non-stop.

What's weird is I don't really remember getting any of my G1ers, but I do remember playing with all of them. I think G1 Prowl was my first. I remember him always being among my toys and being old and beat up, so I am assuming he was number 1.
