A couple of auctions at Taobao give us a good look at the upcoming Transformers Scout 2011 series - Chopsaw.

This figure is expected to hit retail at November 2010.

Those colours really don't match that name.

Is it too much for a figure named "Chopsaw" to have DeWalt colors? I think that yellow & black on this mold would look great.

Clearly he is supposed to be colored after Armada Sideways so why are they calling him anything but Sideways?

I don't care for the mold, and those colors make it look like something Ronald McDonald would ride.

Nope. I'm thinking of picking him up; he'd make a nice Junkion to go with the upcoming Wreck-gar. After all, they're supposed to look like crap anyway, right? Or rather, junk?

If it really is red, then the colors work much better than the blue they used on the original mold. The blue stuck out too much IMHO. There is such a thing as too much highlighting. Just ask Lady Gaga...

I actually like the mold. I think it works better than that hokey Ghost Rider figure coming at us.

But this repaint doesn't do it for me. I already have Brimstone, so I'm not feeling the need for the double dip.

Chopsaw is much redder. Maybe your monitor has weird colors.

Looks like CRIMSON to me.

Shows you how difficult working with shades of purples, blues and reds is, doesn't it?

It is a purple color. Only looks redish because of the yellow tinting of unatural light that the picture was taken in.

looks like G1 Axer's motorcycle to me.

I want him in green. The head and wheels in the forearms are darned near perfect for a Pre-Beast Manterrror. Just look at the art for him form The Gathering

Like how Movie Rampage is a tribute to BW Rampage (look at the head!), Knock Out to BW Waspinator and Reverb to BW Inferno (Calany = Colony, and the 96)? Awful lot of BW homages, no?

easy pass for me I already have Brimestone and theses colors are god awful

Imagine what that bike would look like in real life parked at the the curb in front of a bar with a paint job like that?! You'd laugh at it and couldn't wait to see what kinda dude would ride something so gawd-awful!..... BRUTAL!

while hideous on a real(istic) bike, the new paint scheme says "Beast Machines Thrust" to me. anyone else picking up on it?
too bad there isn't a "wheelfoot" alternate transformation... repaint the Terradive retool blue and come up with a jetfeet mode for him and you'd have Jetstorm... I guess repaint an ROTF Megatron as Tankor? what other futuristic tank would work?
