Have you guys seen carded variants with WFC Generations toys? The Super Walmart near me had Prime and BB with decals advertising the game on the blisters. Could this be a new packaging variant? (Can't do pics, sorry)

I've seen them in three flavors: HUB stickers, WFC stickers, and clean bubble. Not aware of any value difference.

Yeah I noticed the War for Cybertron sticker on a Cybertronian Optimus Prime at Walmart. It was the only one like it. I was gonna post something on it but you beat me to it. I'm guessing it's a new variant, and it makes more sense to advertise the game on its characters' action figures. It also tells the buyer who might be a fan of the game it's from the game so they're like: Oh cool! They made an action figure of that guy! I'm gonna get him!

The WFC stickered ones are from the first case release of just BB and Op that were released when the game came out. (per Razorclaw)

I'm not sure about the hub/clean versions, but packaging varients aren't worth as much as they were back in the day.

--B-- is correct. I watched a TRU employee open a case of all Primes and BBs and they had the WfC sticker. The normal Wave 1 with Thrust and Drift have all had the Hub stickers. I haven't seen any clean Wave 1 Bubbles, though. Wave 2 and on, yes.
