Titanium series- wow

OK, so everytime I go into a toy shop to look at Transformers, I always see those Titanium Series 3 inch models and think "Transformers that don't transform- what's the point?" and had pretty much ignored the Titanium Series altogether, until I found out about the 6 inch models.
I bought TS Megatron today and he's definately my favourite Transformer I own. He looks awesome, has a cool alt mode (it's the War Within version) and is really fun to transform (Yay for extendo-legs!). There are only 2 problems with him: some of his joints feel a little bit delicate, and the contrast between the metal and the colouration on the plastic means that in some lights he looks like he has crome wear, even though he's brand new. But once he's up on his display stand striking a cool pose, all those problems melt away. For ages I've been looking for a TF line that's worth collecting and half way towards affordable, and I think I've found it with the Titanium Series. What do other people think of the line? Any figures that are really worth getting? I'm looking at Ultra Magnus and Soundwave as my next purchases.

I enjoy the Titanium line, when I can find them. The Rodimus should not be missed, as he's a vast improvement over his G1 counterpart. One of my favorite TFs. The Soundwave has some issues with the legs, but I still like mine. The seekers are pretty good, the Scourge is...liked more by other people than myself. Good luck finding the Magnus. He looks awesome, but he's rare as rain these days.
There's a War Within Prowl coming out, and a Skywarp, and supposedly a WW Grimlock, a Shockwave, an Arcee and a Cosmos, so I think you've picked a good time to get in. I think the best figs in the line are still ahead.

If they're gonna release an actual transforming Arcee then I'm definitely gonna pick it up.

I only have a Tit Rodimus and a Tit Soundwave. I love em, specially Rodmius. Soundwave isnt very poseable and his legs are a bit of a problem, but he, like Rodomus are lots of fun to transform and, well, theres always that lovely die-cast to think of!
I want to get a G1 Magnus but they are indeed very VERY heard to find.

As far as I know, she's still in the works. It may not be out for a good long while, but it was entered into one of the super-stores databases a couple months back.

Funny, he was in Forbidden Planet today. I might have bought him had Argos not been selling them for a full ten pounds less.

I live in Edinburgh. Argos is a bugger because you don't know which character you're gonna get, but at least they have some. I like Forbidden Planet, but they're certainly not shy about jacking up the prices...

Ah, feck. That is why the British are awesome.
Hmm, I must be one of the few who doesn't like the Titanium line. I was thinking about Rodimus Prime but I don't like his face. But perhaps if the Arcee looks good I'll consider her.

Rodimus, Thundercracker, and Scourge are bar none the best figs in the line, with hefty competition for the best coming from the new releases. Hasbro is really starting to do this line right.
I even bought 4 Scourges for my own little Sweep army to add to my G1 shelf.

No, the shipping would be extra, but it'd probably work out as only a bit more than their instore price anyway. I wish Argos would give you a chance to choose which character you get, they're only £7.99 on the website at the moment!

The cheapest I've seen him online is £18.60 shipped from toyzandgamez.com - not sure if he's in shock there yet though. I wish my Argos has him.

Just tell the chashir to send in all the variations they have in stock and chows the one you want, that's wat I do.
But forget magnus, my brother got him and I must say he's crap, not worth €25 they charge in Germany. Get him on sale like 50% of normal price otherwise forget him.

I really like these toys. I'm excited about WWI Skywarp, because I love the Seekers in all their forms.

Yeah, I got a lot less excited when I realised I don't have any money left. Still, at least I know it's possible to get some of the beter characters cheap!
